wow your flat is beautiful! I have just gotten an offer to study at Christ Church and I'm so excited!!! How would you say your first year accommodations were in relation to your flat now (there's not really a lot of info online!!)?

Hey! Congrats on your offer! I currently don't live in college which is a nice change, but in first year usually everyone lives in the same quad (Blue Boar) which is pretty modern, slightly smaller rooms but en suite. Some other freshers live in other parts of college too (which I did) where the rooms are a bit more old fashioned (think high ceilings and bay windows but not double glazing). Hope this helps!! J x

Hello! Hope I'll get an answer on this question ahah! I'm french and I would really want to study in Oxford university especially Christ Church College! That is my biggest dream! But I'm juste wondering, is that easy to get in Christ Church College when you're not English? How do you get there, what are the conditions to apply for an international student? Is there a biological sciences speciality in Christ Church College? Got so many questions but I can't manage to find the answers...

lucie hey :) I’m french too and I’m thinking of applying there ! If you’re in 1ère then you should start thinking about your application quickly, as the deadline for your application is october 15th. You need to register on UCAS, write a personal statement (look on the UCAS website), have teacher references, predicted bac grades, and register for the entry test (idk what it is for biological science). Also, you will need to have a proof of english proficiency, unless you go to an english school in france (think TOEFL, CPE etc.). Your required grade is 16 (mention très bien) for the bac. I don’t think it’s necessarily harder to get in as an international student. EU students will keep home fees for 2020 luckily, so you’ll be treated like a UK student. I also recommend you look at other colleges, visit the uni on september 20th (open day!!) and use the college suggested for an idea of the amenities certain colleges have. And for biological sciences, the answer is probably yes but you can check on the website ;) voili voilou

@@lemons2001 Thanks for your answers! I still have time to think about it as I'm currently only in "2nde". I don't really know how to prove my level in English which is, I think, the B2 approximately. I don't have any peculiar graduation in this language but I might pass the B1 this year, if I got the possibility.
I don't know if I'll be able to have my bac with a mention très bien but I hope so!!
I need to get some informations for Dublin Uni too because as Ireland is not leaving the EU, it might be easier to get there and international students are encouraged to study there so I don't know, I still have time to think about it:) I hope you'll get accepted if you're applying!

lucie Thanks ;) unfortunately I don’t know anything about dublin uni, but what I know is that you will need more than B2 to go to oxford, you will need a C2 which is hard but with some hard work you can make it (you have time till terminale:)
