Interesting footage in retrospective in the sense that he seemed to be debating with himself, as this clip went on, whether he is ready to switch from the spread-eagle-sandwiched 3A routine to a new spread-eagle-sandwiched 4S routine in the next competition. And we witnessed his answer to this at 2015 NHK. He never seems to want to waste time and always has his mind set for stepping it up for future competitions.

Being fed up with not being able to nail his SP with the usual 4T, 3A, 3Lz-3T layout he began reworking his layout during this on ice session and we all know the results of that- one of the most flawless SP that ever exists. Who knew the answer was to replace the 3Lz with a 4S? :P

once my brother (ballet dancer) told me that if you want to look good while performing you have to think 1000 times how you want to act, and practice it until you have what you want. I think yuzuru is the best example of that.

i love him i love him i love him ahhhhhhh everything he does is just... so attractive. the way he stops on the ice and visually imagines his moves, uses his hand to point and gesture, even sometimes tapping his head in thought. its so ridiculously cool and i dont even know why, maybe it's just because its Yuzu and everything he does it great lmao... the way you can see the calculations on his face is just great

If you are still wondering, usually they are not free to watch. The practice session tickets are usually included with all-event passes. But lately due to the popularity of the sport, they start selling tickets for the practices too.
He was talking to himself, trying to imagine which way he should go in his program so he can execute his jumps perfectly. It was like his little habit that we can see in all his video. He will take a little moment to think how to execute his jump, where he should do it, should he improvises more or not. It is very endearing hahaha
