Without a doubt, The Crown is by far one of the best series ever produced. The attention to detail is outstanding. Yes, it may be dramatized but it still remains pretty historically accurate in most scenes. Such as the wedding, coronation, tours etc... Thank you Netflix! Season 4 is going to break viewing records and it's going to be one hell of a season. BRING IT ON!!!

Well the thing is u need to understand what it is when u are born into that family and when u get into it by marriage - u do not understand the duty of the crown is to continue and to survive! One side that is lived after the protocoll and one side that is just herself. Diana is the infact the savoir of the monarchy! Diana has changed the Queen for the greater good. She was the cause that the Queen saved in the end the continuing of the monarchy. Never forget how much difficult it is when u seek support, love and understanding as Charles wanted to have it but u cannot get that because duty calls. Happiness and duty are 2 diffrent things. Charles could not choose the one he loved! Charles and Diana was an arrangement. The Queen and Philiip had a basement the loved and met each other before Elisabath got Queen. Diana and Charles failed in that cause they had no time to fall in love with. Charles was 32 already and as the haire to the throne u must act and must save the monarchy conntinnuing.

There are no judgments upon her other than to admire her ability in the way she serves her country as dutifully as she does. By contrast the younger royals wear their heart on their sleeve. Diana did so more than others, but she of all, can arguably be forgiven, especially when she gave so much in return. The only ones I admire now are The Queen, Anne and William who thank God is relatively normal despite everything. As for the show, I’m already blown away by Gillian Anderson. She just gets better year after year.

I know this all centered around "The Crown" (The Queen) and there is alot of buzz about Gillian Anderson's portrayal as Thatcher....but there is something about Diana that was magical and her story and legacy has gone on to become something so much bigger than the royal family I feel. The end scene where Emma gazes into the camera as Diana gave me chills.....The way she is on the outside from everyone else in the picture. I can tell this series is going to be something really powerful and special.
I've got a feeling that the last scene from this video is the last scene of the season. Like, season 1 and 2 also ended with a photoshoot of the Royal Family and that shot of very unhappy Diana looks quite significant.

I started watching The Crown because I needed to learn more about the Royal family for one of my class in Uni 2 years ago. I was supposed to learn about the Royal family and Margaret Thatcher, and even if Thatcher just came into the picture, The Crown helped me with school so much ! Great show, great actors !

Dramatized, but it is *meant* to be so; it is a historical drama--meant to give us a look into historical milestones the royal family went through, with the director's spin on the emotional backdrop. It is absolutely breathtaking, and really, a piece of modern art. I've watched it all over and over by now. I absolutely love the casting, the music, the entire aura of this. Thank you for this piece of art!
Yeah, it falls flat on me too. Especially since a lot of the earlier seasons were not so much about the queen but about how every man around her seemed totally self-absorbed and dealing with angst. It was like everyone was completely shocked that she couldn't make everything about them once she ascended. I am not sure how true to life that would be.

I can't believe people have hated on how the relationship between Diana and Charles is depicted here, saying it's shitting on Charles and making him a bad person.
