Now that you've had it a month or so do you have any more opinions on the Rapido?
Nero, I just got my Rapido and CHT nozzle in today (thank you for the recommendation in a stream BTW) and noticed there is an integrated strain relief for the hot end, much like the Revo. Difference is they are using a zip tie instead of a folded (lightly crimped) metal piece to hold the wire. The kit even came with a spare itty bitty screw that holds onto the strain relief.

I'm trying to design a mount for the Rapido, do you need to insert a bowden tube into the cold end with a rigid mount?
I would go steath burner just for the wires on the hotend being hidden, lol. Maybe a update is possible?
Where did you get the .stl for the fancy new front panel?
Which hotend cable cover is that? It looks larger than stock and I need that.
After I got my voron finished with the included v6 clone I believe that’s it’s fine. Now I have a pheatus hotend and it max out out 20mmcubic on the infill and I believe my voron wants more 😆
Now I want this with a stock 0.4 nozzle and print infill at 250 perhaps 300🤔
Can the stealthburner work with the Voron 0.1? Will there be a mini stealthburner? lol

how fast can you print with the ULTRA high flow ?
You mentioned some issues with some LGX in some batch. Can you tell something more about this?
The MJF bodies had a rough finish that small flecks could come off in the feed path and jam the nozzle, was awhile ago and has been fixed

Is it a PT100 or PT1000 Thermistor in this Hotend?
No, but trianglelab sells a clone with a pt1000
Sadly phaetus didnt put a pt100p in there for the 450° limit. If they would have done that, the rapido would be the ultimate be all, end all hotend. As far as i know, no othef hotend has such a high flow rate, only a supervolcano has more, but that needs 2,85mm filament
I believe the flow should be around 70mm3/s, In chat I made a mistake because I thought we were talking extruder speed 39mm/s.
1.8mm nozzle
1mm layer height
Travel speed 39mm/s
1.8x1x39 = 70.2 mm3/s
If you put it into a slicer and adjust speeds (he was running 120%), it gives roughly the same flow.

Take in mind I order an extra dragon heat break/sink to go with this nozzle so I'm no expert :-)
It was 0.6 layer height, not 1mm. So the flow was 49
@@JasonZnack thanks for clearing that up, I was hoping for more as the advert says 75+ but I guess as every thing that will take a lot of work and tuning to achieve, probably a full size nema 17 going to be part of the picture?
Really it's extrusion width times layer height times movement speed not nozzle diameter by layer height by travel speed

so is it possible to have a hotend with too much flow?
Perhaps with a certain amount of flow capability, you would need a minimum speed to compensate?
Theoretically retractions would be a nightmare. I could see slicers compensating for excessive oozing during retractions by making a small tower/shield under the retraction that prints before the layer such that when retractions without the model underneath occur, there is something ready to catch the oozing on it's way to the model.

Is the revo a monolithic nozzle or is it three pieces, brass nozzle stainless liner for the heat break and brass upper section the transfer heat to the cooler?

how can you fail a print like this and not be sory one minute ? Or explain more than 5 sec what happened ? This is a major failure.
You print so slow I think it doesn't matter if you use rapido and CHT for your prints...
pointless this hottend my printers print nicer and much cheaper
