Thank you so much for posting this video. I read the book "The Life (and Wife) of Allen Ludden" and the author wrote about Allen and Betty performing in summer stock theater, and this was actually how they got to know each other during the summer of 1962 they were performing summer stock in Skowhegan Maine. I really enjoyed getting to watch this short video of the 2 of them together!!
In England they called these Summer Seasons I think. Top TV stars would do plays usually at beach resorts through the summer Betty and Allen looked great.
Love love Betty and Allen! This is also a very telling historical piece of social studies… America looked different then compared to the cast of Hamilton today. You gotta love progress!
