She's one of my most played characters as well, I love her traps, and I can't explain why but Low Voltage is the most satisfying projectile in the game to me.

With the announcement of the MVC collection i found your channel and decided to watch a few videos and i love these types of videos and i like how you did your research for each character you cover and even give comic recommendations for the marvel characters you cover
OK, this is probably my favourite thus far, simply because I've always wondered where they got the ideas for Trish's moves. Despite being a big DMC fan, I'm lazy and didn't venture into DMC2 at all. I assumed CAPCOM had fun and cooooompletely made up her moveset for MVC3, but it's interesting to see how some of these are DMC2 references!
Back in the day, I saw a few complains about Trish getting it, especially getting in before Vergil Personally I think she is a pretty fun character and I love to use her sometimes in my team
Yeah, I definitely remember those complaints. I remember thinking she was an odd choice, but those tend to be the most interesting characters in crossover fighters imo. Hell, Jin is loved these days and he's by far the weirdest choice in MvC1's roster.
When it comes to Monster Hunter, I understand their desire to not have a "canon" hunter, and I believe I heard Infinite's team didn't have the permission phase like 8ing did for their games which is why a Hunter got in that time. Either way, I have to wonder: why did nobody suggest Rajang? What a perfect parallel to Hulk and iconic enough while still being viable as a playable fighter.
@TheSeventhForce Not to mention an install and basically the MSH version of Hulk's projectile when he rips a chunk of earth up at you. Plus he's no larger than a Capcom Sentinel model. I think he's perfect for Vs Capcom.
I always felt Trish was an inspired pick just because she is so flipping fun to play as, to the point where I was tempted to run through DMC 2 just to try playing her in the main series xD Hopefully, she can make a playable appearance in whatever future DMC games... I mean, DMC won a lot of the polls in the recent Capcom survey, there's gotta be another one coming sometime
DMC2 is honestly tolerable with Trish! She sidesteps a lot of the game's combat related jank just by virtue of her basically being DMC1 Dante with a different model. Just make sure to use the code that unlocks her at the start instead of playing through the entire game like I did to unlock her. 🥲

So Trish... I can't bring myself to care about Trish honestly, she's probably the character on the MVC3 roster I care about the least, and most of what I've seen of her personality is either, boring or unlikeable, (Like her win quote against Doc Strange and her ending, way to be an @$$hole) I've not seen many of her interactions and that kinda made it worse in this video, pretty much the only time I could say I thought she was likeable was her win quotes vs Akuma and Arthur. (And I guess hearing you talk about her in DMC1) Idk, maybe it's because I haven't played DMC yet, but I can't say I like Trish that much at all. It was neat knowing most of her moveset was like how she was in DMC2 though. This is probably the most negative I've been on one of these video's since Psylocke.
Trish is one of those characters that i'm glad she's playable but i would easily put aside in a roster for a new game (even because lady is the better girl COUGH COUGH).
I could be wrong but wasn't Lady supposed to be a DLC character in MVCI before they stopped supporting the game? Because Dante didn't have Lady's rocket launcher in his moveset anymore so supposedly it was because they were gonna give it to her.
Roundtrip is honestly lowkey a pretty memorable move. Any multi hitting projectiles that goes back and forth in fighting games gets called "Roundtrip" like Annie's Level 3 from Skullgirls. The fact the gave it to Trish who was my main in Mahvel 3 is pretty sick IMHO. She's one of those characters I dont see coming back but a trap based character like her should return in the future

i wish she had more thought out moveset. she barely has any combos and she is a very boring character, even though she is one of my favorite capcom characters, i just cant play trish in marvel... she kinda suffered the same faith as x23 and Jill, she has no sauce
I’m glad she got in 3. I wish DMC weren’t such a sausage fest where the few females in the series get next to nothing and are hardly used if ever. It’s dumb. So I’m glad Trish got a slot over more predictable and boring picks.

Trish has so much potential for good storytelling; her being a creation/daughter and servant of Mundus, being made in the spitting image of Eva, and how she and Dante feel about it, her learning to become her own person, etc. I think a spin-off game would do a lot for her character.
Yeah, I imagine they just took the opportunity to give them interactions even if it doesn't canonically make sense for that version of him to recognize her.
Only thing i was annoyed with Trish playsets is them playing keep-away or rage quitting when i beat her down!😂 Always have to fight the ones you love.❤

Also, I hope you cover one of three fighters that only appeared in Children of the Atom and Marvel 2 (could be Spiral, Silver Samurai or Colossus). Poor Colossus, they done him dirty animation wise.
