    Great work, really helpful tips.
I've been trying to ride waves powerless for ages and seem to only be able to get power going down the face and glide for a bit.
But the tips in your videos really helped, the main one being shimming up, I used to be a 0 shim is all you need. I have a pro with a flow 1100 and flow s 1300. The 1300 was my go to wing, so chuckable especially with the nano battery and really predictable. I hated my 1100 because the pitch stability was difficult in the ocean.
But shimming up to a 2 and using my 110 I just get wave after wave now, the extra glide of the non flow wing makes a huge difference and with the 2 degree shim it is much more predictable in pitch.
    Keep up the great content

Hey Paul! I'm excited to see someone else obsessed with dialing in the downwind aspect of a Fliteboard. I'm off the west coast of Florida riding around the Anna Maria Island area.
Riding a Pro with a Flow 1100. Our bumps are smaller here in the gulf but still enjoyable. Enjoying your content. "NickE" on the Fliteboard app.
    Cheers!

Great footage and clear narration. What percentage of the downwind would you say was unpowered in this run?

Cheers! This particular run I was towing weed, so it wasn't that great as I would normally stop to clear it from the wing/mast, but obviously had range anxiety with the drone in the air. Generally with the Nano now I'm comfortably doing a 15km downwinder in similar conditions with around 50% +/-5% of that being unpowered and finishing the run with about 40-50% of the Flitecell remaining!

Is it possible to get up in 1m waves, 5 sec apart, deep water, and 20 knots wind? I tried on my Ultra L but couldn’t- there wasn’t enough time between waves to get on and build speed. But is there a way?

this video is literally all about riding in those conditions... sounds like you need to practice more, but admittedly is going to be more difficult if you're a heavier guy

@@paularity_ thanks for replying, but the gap between waves seemed much longer in your video...you were also able to walk out with the board past the largest swells... in my case it was too deep to do that. Each wave would pitch the board up almost vertically and push me back. Not sure if even you could have launched in these conditions?!
