This kinda makes me wish for a challenge scenario like this: you spawn into empty "evacuated" town, you get one in-game week to loot and secure the base and then the zeds swarm in. Pretty much like "You have one day" challenge but less bullshit
With a little bit of elbow grease you can actually do this yourself: Create a new game with no zombies, play your week or however much time you want, then edit the files, set zombie population and respawns to an agreeable number and activate migration.
I wish I had been that smart on my current run. I only filled up my car and about 7 gas cans, and its 2 months in and I still haven't found a fucking generator magazine. Luckily I'm in Rosewood, so my car only really needs to be used to carry loot/supplies when clearing houses rather than any sort of long distance travel.
