  • Phillip Scott responds to a Jamaican Sista stating that Black Americans are causing prices to go up in African nations. She also said we come with privilege and want to change society. Last time I checked, Black Americans don't own the beaches in Jamaica, preventing the locals from accessing their own beaches.

Now, what this lady is saying about Black people moving to other countries and colonizing the citizens of those countries is not true. However, the white people are doing that. People don't come to Jamaica and stick a flag in the ground and claim the land as theirs. These beachfront properties that are bought become private property. This happens in America too.
Public beaches are still all over Jamaica, they just happen to not be in areas designated for tourism. That part is usually omitted.
We have a thriving fishing industry. If we didn't have public beaches where do you think the fishermen sail from?

Stop spreading hate towards Africans , Watson that’s a british slave owner name given to the enslaved Africans yet you spew hate towards Africans. Our common enemy is white supremacy, are you all ready to fight against it or you want to establish more division within the black community ??. Most Africans respect and love other black folks, so avoid listening to western media and a minority of self hating black people who hate African Americans.

What is she talking about. Jamaican's have been moving to Africa since the late 50's, buying land, building homes, starting businesses,.
Ethiopia gave alot of Jamaican's their own land to settle as a tribe in Ethiopia.
Their are alot of Jamaican's in Ghana especially with compounds, businesses, etc., in Nigeria, in the Gambia as well.
There's a Jamaican in the Gambian have his own four wheel terrain tourism company.
Their are more Jamaicans in Africa than African Americans with the American dollar and no one in Africa, or Jamaica saying anything about them, but Africans and Jamaicans are always coming for African Americans neck.

Black people would be given 100,000 dollars a year for 10 years. This would give then the million dollars. I also would grant each black person 50 acres of land. This I feel would be a good start to the reparations argument. You have to have something in writing to bring before the government officials in order to get something done.

I am Black American and the vast majority of us DONT WANT TO MOVE TO AFRICA. Many of us are descendants of black people who were indigenous to TURTLE ISLAND.

We have to understand that it wasn’t that many Africans brought to the Americas during the slave trade. Most of the enslaved Africans were taken to the Caribbean islands and Brazil. Only 3 to 6 percent of Africans were brought to the Northern Americas. Majority of the enslaved population in the Americas were Indigenous Black People who were already here long before Europeans learned the world was round. It’s too much information out here proving that we’re NOT from Africa by way of the slave trade. The black indigenous people left Africa thousands of years ago. America was known as Turtle Island by the indigenous black people. We need to speak this information so people can stop mislabeling us as African Americans. We are Foundational black Americans. We had an ethnogenesis. We are very different from our African cousins. Truth be told, I don’t look nothing like my African cousins. No one in my family does. My grandmother and grandfather were both jet black looked like Indian. That side is of the Cherokee nation. The other side, Blackfoot and Chataw. I digress.
