Thank you Tech Warrior. You saved my tablet, and I fixed it myself using your video. I replaced the battery too, and I’m just an old lady. Lol... I am thrilled!
industrialcrow thank you for watching, I am glad you were able to fix your tablet, more importantly is that you were able to get the confidence to get it done. Thank you for letting me know. Make sure to charge the battery to 100% before using it.
Thank you for this video! I could not tell though what it was you pulled up from the area of the charging port. It appears that you set it down on the battery, then replace/slide it back into place. Could you perchance to describe what you're doing there please?
Hello, I live in Brazil and I have a tablet sansung galaxy note pro sm-p905, is having problems with the logic board. would you recommend a good site or two that deliver in Brazil? I haven't found any reseller stores around here! thank you!!
I was just curious on what popped off the ribbon, it is hard to see, but is it some sort of retainer? And it seemed that you did not reinstall it after the ribbon was in place, good video otherwise
thank you for watching, the piece that came off was a spacer/filler to keep the pressure on the cable. The new cable has it already, no need to put it back on.
Please where did you get the new charging port replacement? I really need one. Also what are your thoughts about getting replacement battery at the same time?
David White thank you for watching, I get mine from a vendor overseas. You can find them on eBay or amazon. Open your tablet and order your replacement with the same info on the flex cable. Make sure model number and version are identical for your tablet otherwise it will not work. I will try and add a link later today. Battery is easy to replace also, I would only change the battery if it is not holding charge and or if you have had the tablet for more than 2 years.
Thank you for replying back so quickly, technically I am not really sure what I need to replace. My Note 12.2 is not charging even though it shows the charging symbol as charging. Yup I have had it over 2 years, could be as much as 5 years by now. I will check back later for the link ... very good video 👍👍
David White if you have had the tablet for 5 years and it’s having issues charging I would definitely change the battery. Use your phones camera and zoom in on the charging port to see if you have any debris inside. If you have debris use a toothpick and gently scrape to remove debris. Cut toothpick at an angle to get a harp tip.
The charge port on my wife's 12.2 has been abused and is bent over (probably got mis-aligned somehow, then trying to ram the male connector in there bent it right over). I was able to straighten it (carefully!) but it's pooched (at least it's charging now). I just 10 minutes ago bought a replacement off eBay (USA seller) for $5 inc. shipping.
Thank You for watching, the tablet will need to be properly cleaned, depending on the water damage and how long it was in the water it may not work properly even after replacing parts. Any water damage devices I would only work on them to retrieve photos or documents. I have also seen a simple fix where a new battery and some minor repairs and cleaning have brought devices back and not have any issues.
Music lover thank you for watching, I am replacing the charging port that comes attached to a ribbon flex cable. Some charging ports need to be soldered to the motherboard. This one came in one piece that is simple to replace.

Thank You for watching, it is a plastic spacer to prevent the ribbon cable from bending when set in place.

Where can you get adapters to convert to s C USB or any other Adapter for Samsung T900
Thank you for watching, I am not sure you can get another charging flex cable to convert it to a USB C port.
You wouldn't be able to unless you resolder the pins in the flex cable :/
