  • adyashanti.org - Your body doesn’t begin or end at the surface of the skin. Adyashanti takes us beyond the common description of the human body, toward a more truthful understanding of how our bodies include all of life. From this wider lens, our physical forms - as well as the transcendence beyond the world of form - are expressions of our true nature.

    Quotes from this Video:
“The air we breathe, the water we consume, the ground we walk on, these aren’t just things we just drink or walk on or breathe, as strange as it might sound, these are actually even more intimately things that we are.”
“So really, what does it take for even a single body to exist? Well, it takes all of life.”

There isn’t a spiritual teacher alive today who can match Adya in my opinion. He’s so genuine and is able to explain the most difficult concepts with such ease and with zero BS.

Well said. This is about love, pure love and always has been. Total acceptance of the physical body that is the vehicle through which we experience manifestation is the point. When we see our true body, not through the lens of the person but through the eyes of God, we reconcile the apparent separation we've been conditioned to believe. But the point is to live in that duality knowing it is in appearance only. In truth, there is no separation, we are all one body. THIS is real love, even of the physical body and all it's apparent limitations.

Making part of ourselves expendable only brings suffering to what's left of us.

When perceiving only real expression, you're in everything you perceive; but, when you think about it, you aren't. What's real is amazing, because you're in it ... all. What's imaginary is even more amazing, because you aren't in it ... at all.
