I live in Waxahachie. There’s no skatepark for like 20 miles I think. But we have some parking lots and a parking garage an downtown area with stuff. It’s illegal to skate downtown but normally don’t get bothered. they have a drainage ditch bowl that works enough to have fun in an some other little areas. Not a skate friendly town although they have a small shop.
@@origionalbrand there is a cool skatepark in Arlington at Vandergriff park if you get the chance! If you get the time, downtown Dallas is pretty fun to skate also.

I recently found out Dan Corrigan invented skateboarding and that in his early years traveled the Corrigan trail west to discover California and build the very first skatepark

The spark is back and I'm super excited to get back into it. I'm only 26, but haven't skated for a good 10 years now. Gonna head down to the local shop tomorrow and pick up a new board. It's definitely good cardio! Also an old fuck and I just picked up my board again thanks to this channel. Beats jumping rope. I think my bones pop louder than the board though.
I’m 30 and haven’t skate since 15 years. Been on a board (cruiser) for about a month 5 years ago that’s it. Tomorrow I’m going to buy a heroin skateboard deck with indys and spitfires and definitely gonna skate my life out this summer!! I’m travelling to BC from Mtl so I’ll definitely hit lots of spots Cheeeers

I split my toe to the bone as a kid, smashed between a bike peddle and a tree stump. I can walk on gravel barefoot all day but no way in hell you'll catch me skating without shoes.

Where do you go? I moved to Texas not too long ago and not having a skatepark is torture.
