1.) He's an all terrain killer (freestyle, vert/transition, 30+ stair handrails, etc.)
2.) He does tricks no one else does or can do.
3.) He skates spots no one else does or can.
4.) He's helping innovate skateboarding with new deck shapes, griptape, wheels, etc. Very few other S.O.T.Y's have ever done that.
If that's not S.O.T.Y material, I don't know what is.
I love Andy’s skating and his new part is amazing but his previous part was better imo-more well rounded.

Super RAD!!! Well on your way to being a skateboard legand! Being over 50 and having lived through many eras of skating myself, Andy is a great blend of old and new. This is what makes him so entertaining for me to watch. For sure one of the most stand out skaters to ever do it. Yet his whole thing is doing a bunch of old stuff in a new fresh way. Sorta of bringing things back and keeping them relavant again. Love it!
