Well the 2 machines are equal! They both have their weaknesses and strengths. I prefer the core because of the M8 coil. It is more stable and the shape of it makes water hunting easier. But the D2 is equally or more stable due to the filters. Factory to factory I would go with the core because the D2 is built like shit! After adding a Steve’s detector rods carbon rig it makes it equal. Now as far as ease of uses the core is a winner hands down. Less shit to charge and so on! So in a perfect world the D2 would get pregnant by the core and have a hybrid baby if that makes sense? Fit and finish of the core , accessories of the D2 and programs/filters. That’s the best way to describe it. Either machine will get you where you want to go! I would use the D2 more but I don’t want to screw up the numbers floating in my head! There is only enough ram left over for one machine. lol
