@PipeVise, thanks for the feedback. I really like the Micro5 being that its a very durable one handed wrench still a pocket size. I tend to abuse tools by asking more of them than they're designed for but the Micro5 keeps working for me. I like that its Made in USA as well. I could see myself purchasing a larger one or the fixed base model to take the place of my older Ridgids.
It's hard learning to use tools, isn't it? Any one of those, used correctly could have easily done the job. I carry the knipex ("k-nip-ex") cobras every day. They grab a huge range of fasteners. The same with the plier wrench setup. You are using them wrong. Adjust the grip so you aren't squeezing it with your hand as much as letting the leverage of the top handle cam onto the fastener.

They’re not made in the USA unfortunately especially at the current price point. They’re made in China. Only their soft goods are USA.
@@deanuw I am mistaken, I truely thought they were. It is a nice product though. I haven't broken it yet.
