- We're finishing everything mechanical on the 750cc cross kart today, and going out for one final thrash test before tearing it down for paint. We fully enclose the roll bar for added safety, add mechanical cable actuated paddle shifters, and go for a test drive.

I was washing old pipes for pool plumbing boss rush in said a plane hit the tower everyone go home got home my pops was already recording it on VHS then the second plane hit shock set in still have the VHS tape
I was on the job in a customers house repairing cable . I thought it was a movie until the customer told me no it’s live tv. I was in my truck all day no radio so I had no idea what was going on
I was already out of the Marines, married and had my first couple of kids. It was a strange, sad day.
Sheesh, I was like 17, 18? Just got out of the dentist office after a 2 hour surgery getting teeth removed. I remember watching the news in awe and fear with my face swollen to hell, high as a kite on percocet.

Please mount a fire extinguisher somewhere within drivers reach in the cockpit. The rollcage now has made it difficult to escape in case of rollover and say if the cage collapses in any form and traps driver and if a fire breaks out at least the driver has an extinguisher within arms reach.
Being that both the tank and engine are behind the driver, I'd lean towards a mounted extinguisher that's hard piped to a nozzle aimed towards the engine/fuel tank. Driver would pull the pin, push the button and worry about getting out while the extinguisher dumps it's contents where it a fire would most likely be.

I was hoping they were going to give it decent roll over hoop when he said they were adding a roll bar, this looks like a trap. The roll over hoop they have on there looks like it would fold even with these bars added.
Death trap. Who can reach and use a fire extinguisher trapped in twisted broken cage? The spectator should keep it handy so when the victim is screaming, he can bludgeon him with it, humanely.
the kart looks amazing. but i think it needs body panels and a wing and it will be perfect

Just a suggestion, once you guys get a new head quarters, take the checkered floor with you. And as payment for your parents, using their garage all this time. Buy the some new Flooring.

I liked the rat rod better. Pure and simple hot rodding. Little vehicle stuffed with big engine.
i think it would be handy if you made the roll bar hinge so you could get in and out easier

Since that kid can’t keep a continuous bead running, I think a professional welder should leak at that machine. Soon. A grinder doesn’t fix welds, just hides them better.

I have been watching for quite a while now and have just been amazed by the growth in the channel, the growth in video quality, and the growth in craftsmanship. Love the content guys! Just a tiny suggestion you should consider using a set of arm restraints . If you should roll over natural instinct is to catch your self /ie put your hand outside the cage yup bye bye to how ever much the bar catches. Shred on brothers !! Keep up the good work!
Have y'all ever thought about getting the cart street legal as a home build just like you would for a dune buggy or other home build vehicle like I did for my rat rod.?
Was unsure about the styling before but it now looks totally rad, so cool.
I think in a strait line the ducarti might get the win but on a road course i think this will far out handle the ducarti

I was hoping you were going to make custom rear suspension. The miata suspension looks kinda ugly and so does the fuel tank.
Not hate, just an opinion, I’ve watched since you made a vid on why to buy an old go kart.
I agree do something with the fuel tank! The ratchet straps look so unprofessional.
Replace the fuel tank with a old keg is what I’m thinking

When you guys announced this project, that is exactly what I envisioned. Well executed.
It's not ready to take apart in my opinion, it still runs like crap. You need to take a last effort to try to tune this thing. You are missing out on so much hp.
We may try to swap carbs again in the future. It can be done after paint.
Exhaust/mufflers might help with that too
I'd say, just get 4 independent carbs, like it's designed to run, and put 4 good filters on them.
I agree it does run like crap it needs tuning bad it needs the original carburetors put back on it I have a buggy that I built with a Suzuki katana 750 on it it was dangerous when it was running right it has a sv650 Suzuki on it now and it's still pretty badass I cut up to four wheelers and two motorcycles to build it i have a little girl with cerebral palsy that is 13 years old now and she's always loved to ride and I built it for her she loves it i have to ride her everyday on it if I don't she gets really mad she can't walk or talk so that's pretty much all the enjoyment she gets is to riding so I try to ride her everyday !!
You guys really brought that thing together. The roll cage looks great, and I love the paddle shifter, and I really love the 8 ball on the lever shifter.
Still No mufflers. Got you kicked out the neighborhood, not driving around but the noise, and now you go somewhere else to annoy the crap out of other people. I don't get why you wouldn't want to shut the thing up? Must be ear splitting to drive even with a helmet and will only get you into more trouble. I wouldn't want to listen to that thing screaming either so it's not anyones falt for calling the cops but your own and won't be when you have a run in with the law again.
As soon as the roll cage was mounted I had one thought...it looks like a Sierra ARX3 clone. Looks absolutely stunning guys!

You fellas did a great job on the frame and roll cage geometry! As Ike spun around in the montage, each angle of tubing looked perfectly parallel from side to side and front to back. outstanding!

im so happy i rediscovered this channel. i used to watch on and off a few years back but im really digging these projects you guys are doing now. I just started watching the mini dragster playlist. i think i next step for you guys should be to say screw it and put full sized car motors into a crazy kart. i know the death and all this is an issue, but it would probably be propper 'i can take on mustangs and corvettes' fast.

Omg, it looks so much better with the full cage.
A little 'in the weeds' but I loved that scene transition as Ike drive the Kart onto the trailer and John drove it into Ike's shop. Nicely done!
Regarding the welder, it might be the whip liner. One of the miller's at my work was doing that stopping thing and the liner fixed it. Also check drive wheel tension.

If ike is having trouble getting in and out. A thing I did with my buggy because I'm tall. Is I installed a quick release steering wheel. Made it easier to get in and out with the room. Super sick video guys.

Man that thing has turned out to be pretty dang awesome..you guys have done a good job on it..if always wanted to build something like that and I had started on one at one time..the first 550 and 750 Honda road bikes I bought were to pull the engines and build to carts for my brother and I..started on them and was slowly gathering materials for them and I guess my dad got tired of it taking up room in his shop because he sold it all on me while I was out over the road working..really really upset me to say the least..lol..if I would have known he wanted them out of there I would have gotten them out of there one way or another..but I didn't know anything about it until I got home and was going to work on them and they were gone..dad and I almost fought over that deal..I didn't even get the money from them..he said that was my storage fee..lol..shithead..lol..needless to say I haven't started building another one yet but I have nephews now that love that kind of stuff so it probably won't be long before I'm building something for them in sure..get them started going and hopefully they will stick with that kinda stuff and stay away from all the drugs and junk that's taking over our country..anyway that's a discussion for another day and another channel..lol
Looks like you guys came up with a pretty solution to what seemed to me a pretty challenging problem (paddle style shifter). Would have been cool to see video of them actually working...
