    Well done, thanks for taking us for a great climb too....My adrenaline was pumping that much during your rescue event that I needed to stay sitting down.😅

    That is just mighty cool Dan. My wife and I love watching your videos. You are a great teacher in my book. I am a few months from being 67 and just started climbing. Used a chainsaw all my life, but was watching youtube videos to learn more and stumbled upon guys climbing trees as part of the work. I told my wife that looks like too much fun. Thanks for all your efforts putting these videos together. I know it takes a lot of work. I always enjoy your explanations. Wife and I both like the way you talk also. You are quite the motivator and entertainer while working. Thanks again. Lewis

      Lewis, Dan is the real deal, there are quite a few other videos out there showing unsafe and incorrect usage. Stick with Dan and Lawrence Schultz. Jim

    Good stuff , the question on the audible in the work climb was a little confusing but you had it correct .

      @ClimbingArborist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they misunderstood that portion of the scoring/rule book , but after my climb they consulted the rule book and corrected it from there on.

    Great stuff! Still confused about the audible warning. Why would a competitor need to call out that they're putting their lanyard on?

    • @ClimbingArborist

      It was a judging mistake and is not actually the rule of the Workclimb

    Super video Dan, thanks for taking the extra time and energy to document and share the comp experience. Not sure if you are coming to PDX next week but hope to see you there!

    Great work, brother. Keep it up.
    Pardon me if you’ve already said this elsewhere, but I’m curious, weren’t you living in Canada? What brought you down to Idaho? That state has very corrupt politicians that take bribes from pharmaceutical drug makers in order to ban cannabis and other unpatentable medicines. I’m surprised you didn’t move to Washington, California or Oregon (I hope to move here in order to be a climbing arborist.) still, Idaho has some awesome wilderness and trees for sure so I hope you get to enjoy that plenty.

      Still living in BC, Canada, just down for the comp. don’t know much about their politics but Boise is beautiful
