*CHRISTOCENTRIC MEAL* *DR ABEL DAMINA* *SUNDAY MAY 08, 2022* *PRAYING FOR OTHERS, PRAYING FOR THE UNSAVED* *Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;* The epistles concentrated more on praying for others than ourselves. There are different categories of people to pray for. We are to pray for the unsaved. The unsaved is the one who has not believed, or heard the Gospel of Christ to believe. 2nd Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: Vs 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. His mind is blinded and needs the light in the Gospel of Christ. This can only happen when the man hears the Gospel. Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? The Gospel has to be preached for the man to hear and then to believe, hence he needs a preacher. Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Vs 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? Vs 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Then in praying for the unsaved, I pray for persons to reach the unsaved (in cases where you can’t directly reach the unsaved person) Matthew 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; You can also pray for a free flow of the Gospel to his hearing, to pray that the word has a free course and be glorified. 2nd Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: Lastly you pray for boldness of the preacher sent to the unsaved person. *PRAYER: Pray for labourers to reach the unsaved you are unable to reach.*

When you pray for people you will not need to pray for yourself
They must be a judgment call before you put away somethings
