This is the most fireworks I’ve heard in years maybe ever.
It's because law enforcement in this city is the lowest ever. It's the "broken window" theory: when small, supposedly minor laws are not enforced, those who would commit more serious crimes are encouraged and feel more emboldened to do so.

@@stevethomas2094that's bullshit lmao, the broken window theory isn't real, it's a conservative myth used to justify over policing of poor and black people. The real reason is that cops just refuse to do their jobs now as a political play because they don't like being held even remotely accountable, and now that we're trying to do so across the country, cops just say "oh okay we won't do our jobs then" and just start refusing to enforce the law or do their jobs to investigate and punish criminals. Then they'll say "see this is what happens when you try to hold police accountable" like it's the fact they have to wear body cameras that makes them unable to do their job, and not them choosing not to do it.

We live in the country, we refer to the week of the 4th as "Hell Week" for our pets. they are not enthused.... nor are the chickens. Cat doesnt care.
It would be okay if it was just one day but we’ve been hearing these things for over a month and will probably continue for another month.
Then there’s New Years Eve and it starts over again.
It really sucks if your pets don’t like them.

Why? My sister's cat just sat outside and didn't care about the explosions. It was kind of funny to see that cat so indifferent to fireworks. But she's also an old cat who's probably hard of hearing.

Redondo Beach had a great fireworks display got to watch it from the balcony of the yacht club, it was worth fighting the traffic back on PCH. Thank you, Redondo Beach PD, especially all of these working on PCH to all points heading east from the beach what were all those ambulances and firetrucks all about last night?

@@densincomprehend8879 I live in California and have been evacuated multiple times due to wildfires. People that set off fireworks in such dry and hot conditions are worse than irresponsible. Anyone that sets off one that results in a fire should be charged with arson. If the fire results in the death of anyone, they should be charged with murder.
Additionally, news outlets reported that the pollution had changed the air quality in socal to "very unhealthy" and it was expected to last days. The fireworks also rain heavy metals like lead, copper, and barium (it's how the coloring works) over a large area which then gets into the ground water.
