It's the most beautiful place I've ever been. But if you're going there to buy and house and retire make sure you have lot's of money

We wish they would have turned parts of Fort Ord into a Del Webb type retirement community. The prices of double wides in the Monarch Pines have gone through the roof.

Monarch Pines mobile home park looks interesting. You cannot beat the location. When I googled it, I noticed they filed a lawsuit in 2020 against the city of Pacific Grove because they wanted to put a road through the park? There was talk of using eminent domain. I could not find any follow up to this article after 2020. Since the park is still there in 2024, I assume it was settled?

North of England and love it. 😅 I've been back in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for 5 years and I'm over it. Looking for a sunnier location. Brexit has made it a sticky situation now in regards to other European destinations. I do have a permanent visa for the US and my immediate family is there so I'm considering it.

Jesus not all retirees have such limited income that all they can afford is a mobile home. Depressing.
