I'm so happy I found this video. I was about to call a plumber to fix mine, but I'm going to try to do it myself. Now all I have to do is pray that the guy put something to turn the water off under the sink!!!

FANTASTIC video. Very detailed, very articulate. I’m excited to try this process on my direct plumbed Keurig that just started with the water supply interrupted error. Well done!!

Sir, this is by far the best review and troubleshooting video ever posted about the Keurig K150 and K155 series. Thank you so very much👍

This did the trick for for my slow brewing coffee. One thing I did different was to run 1 cup of water after descaling solution was added. Then I dumped that back in the reservoir. I waited until following morning to run more water through and made about 8 cups of water. Totally renewed the whole thing.

SOOOO helpful! We were at our wits end with how to descale our direct line keurig. Thank you so much for investigating the issue making this video to share!

Thank you very much for this video. I was about to get a replacement reservoir for 80 bucks. I ended up sticking a piece of aluminum to the sensor in order to trick it into thinking it's always full. Everything works perfectly now thanks once again for the great video.

Thanks Max! Very thorough and simply explained. Keurig should hire you! Big appreciation for your time to make this.

We have the 150 at the office and has been a slow drip lately. Already cleaned out the needle so I'll try to descale next. Thanks for the great instructions!

Did it work. Getting ready to try this at my office.

@@JackInTheShop it did not but I do not think it was a descaling issue. I think the issue was whatever pushes the water thru the k cup.. like there was just no pressure.

Great video. I recently purchased two dozen used B150 units at an auction. Nearly half we're working units and the remainder had failures related to scaling. I was surprised to see the amount of buildup inside the tank in each of them. Thanks for the info on the descaling solution.

Max, I found that calcification on the level control disc in my direct plumb unit was not my issue. I took off the reservoir and removed the bottom plate. I inspected the intake that connects to the reservoir. I found that this intake has a screen filter that was clogged with some sort of unknown clear slime (consistency of snot). I found the same on the tubing from this intake all the way to the water pump. After cleaning the intake screen filter , the tubing from this intake to the water pump, and the water pump (the water pump this can be dissembled for cleaning), I was able to clear the suction line from the intake to the pump. This cleared the CHECK WATER SUPPLY and the WATER FLOW INTERRUPTED error messages I was receiving and my Keurig is working again.

Sounds like you need an in-line water filter on your water supply line. 👍😁

The float is a back-up in case the water overfills the reservoir. The water should never reach the float if the brewer is operating properly.

Hi - The video is super helpful. However, with the Check Water Supply error message, we aren’t able to brew anything to drain the cold water reservoir. Can you provide more detail on how you did that?

    • @maxknopp351
      @maxknopp351  4 ปีที่แล้ว

I would suggest just pouring the descaling solution in with the water...

Mine has two hoses that can be used to drain the tanks. They are behind the single screw middle bottom of back of keurig. I don’t have a check water supply but a very slow brew so it takes forever to get a cup. I am def going to try this tonight!

Hi Max. I work in an office that has the commercial brewer. Looks almost like yours. Thank you for posting this video. I couldn't find anything from Keurig on what to do and I feeling like I'm going nuts. I called my Tenant Office Coordinator to see if maintenance can check the water supply and they said that the water supply is on and perhaps something is wrong with the Keurig. My question to you: Before you fixed your Keurig, did any water come out? Mine keeps telling me to "hit the brew button to reset" and when I do, then I'll get the message about the water supply. Any suggestions you can offer would be very much appreciated. Thank you kindly in advance.

Thank you for the information and this video. do you have an in-line water filter that is attached? If so what kind is it and how often do you change it?

So I have one of these keurigs and ants decided to build a hive somewhere in my water reservoir. Anyway to get that tank completely free so I can clean it out?

12:22 The water level indicator on my K150P (plumbed) has always displayed as full, wether the reservoir is full, 50% filled, 25% filled, or empty. I had NO IDEA that Keurig disabled the water level indicator on these models. I've never purchased or hooked up the direct plumb kit.

Thank you Max, great video. We tried descaling today and it was pretty frustrating. We found that filling the cold water reservoir to the point where the float started rising caused water to come out at the bottom of the reservoir. Is that an overflow port? It's frustrating in that you can't get the top area of the reservoir descaled. I've never noticed that port before and never had any leakage. Are you aware of this? We also had issue with the replacement filter leaking, so all in all a bad day. And you're right, not much information out there on the direct plumb Keurigs. Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

Mine is the one where you manually fill it And it keeps saying water flow interrupted and there's a little black plastic thing down in the water that looks like it has a battery and I picked that up and put it back down and it works again

So basically, put 2 bottles of the descaling solution into the reservoir for at least 6hrs. Then flush it out by running brew cycles...that was a painful 13+ minutes to get this info. But thank you for the help.

Max I wish you could get a hold of me I have a B 3000 which is no longer made it’s direct plumbed and there is no access to any water reservoir there’s some kind of slow motion pump you have to interrupt the lines with to pump the scaler in if you can ever could get in touch with me I would like to know who I could talk to at Keurig because it is like pulling teeth getting a hold of someone knowledgeable at that company
