    Been working on getting the wires into my doors on my expedition for the DSP today. Got to listen to it after 12 hours of work today. Needs tuning but it works. Hertz pro and Audison DSP and 2 10 inch subs.

    A-Plus on the content. I'd be willing to bet that 90 plus percent of us out here are doing just what you are doing by piecing together our systems. I also believe that if more people had the ability to modify and create then they would do just that. The more ingredients that you can create or obtain for free in my eyes makes it that much more special when you get to the end product. Again excellent choice in content brother!

      thanks!, well theres time...and thers money..most folks have 1 of those, not the other. so they have to use the thing they have more of, whatever that is. I used to have way more money than time, now I have WAY more time than money.

    If your hooking 4 dvc 4s up I’m pretty sure ur final is 2phms not 1. But the build looks good!

      na, its a 1 ohm load final, its 4 dual 2ohm drivers, wire to 4 ohms each, so 1 ohm final. and thanks!

    Use lag screws for structural wood! They work great for heavier loads

    You could use some threaded inserts (the kind that you press in from the rear) just for the bottom two or three bolts. That way the pressure pulling outward is going to get spread over a large area on the inside lip.
    If you want to stick with screws, you can glue some scrap pieces of wood along the bottom inside lip so that you're using all the thread on those long screws.
    I also make it a point to pre drill pilot holes so that the screw doesn't want to split the MDF.

    Did you heat PVC up and mold that yourself? I'm guessing put it in an oven maybe I'm going to search now I'm hoping you covered that I would definitely be interested in watching that process. I also worked for a plastics company doing injection mouldings.
    Edit, yeah so I thought I saw the labeling on the pipe. I know those sections of pipe aren't cheap but I drop in the bucket compared to ordering a port online

      @CarAudioEnthusiasts  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      this is an online port, Bigass ports. the box was built for this exact port, so it was the least painfull solution. beside the port is reusable, and can be tuned in may ways.

    I've done the same thing and honestly I was never so disappointed in the sound of the wall and all my life 812. It does really good on the meter for competition sound quality in my opinion it is a turd

      @@CarAudioEnthusiasts Don't get me wrong mine sounded good but it didn't have that base that carried like for blocks,, maybe it was just my setup this was back in 2000 when I used to compete here in Florida,, what made me quit competing was The eclipse titanium came out,, though the number is laughable now I was hitting 148.2 which was a big number in the street class,, but the rich kids that bought the eclipse titanium 15 one of them were hitting the same numbers ,,, that made me say uncle I had enough
