      @@evanrodriguez8608 maybe to you guys cause you were around at the time it came out. But I love that stuff and I'm pretty young (19), just a little kid when HIM came out (or wasnt even alive). Dont mean to be one of those kids that just states their age for no reason, just trying to make a point. Maybe you have to be young to enjoy it and it gets cringy as you get older? I love slipknot and most Nu metal, hopefully it wont be the same for me as I get older. Fvk getting old :( most older people seem very unhappy

    • @y_0886
      @y_0886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well maybe for you... but what I most see is comments from old fans from 00s and also new ones from this generation still enjoying their music
      I remember back in the 00s there was a lot of those overproduced chessy emo bands those were the ones that didnt age well haha (my chemical romance,paramore, fallout boy,simple man,panic at the disco etc.. lol I remember well
      As Ville Valo himself once said : "american bands whining about their gf that have haircut like that.. and sounds overproduced"
      Then the interviewer: Yeah that's not HIM haha
      among all of that HIM was doing something quite authentic their gothic\melancholy rock\metal was good

    • @stratocaster-dn7gt
      @stratocaster-dn7gt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@y_0886 fuck getting older bro you guys seem very lame and not proud of your past. Dude be proud of your past, otherwise what legacy did you even leave???

    • @evanrodriguez8608
      @evanrodriguez8608 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@stratocaster-dn7gt I agree w/ you bro. I'm a year older than you actually (20). I still listen to HIM all the time. Specifically the Razorblade Romance album. I remember when I around 2005-2009 I used to skate w/ my bro and his friends and we all used to listen to the same music (HIM, Papa Roach, Incubus, Slayer, MCR, System of a Down, Velvet Revolver, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Linkin Park, 311, Deftones, Pantera, Korn, etc). Definitely didn't get cringy as I got older. It's just outdated is all. But that goes for all music. You can easily say that Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, or Flo Rida are just as outdated (not that I have ever been a fan of them). Nowadays I still listen to all those bands, and I even search for more bands from that era to listen to because I don't worry about what people think lol. Most of my friends also still listen to those bands. People should listen to what they wanna listen to. I also listen to Denzel Curry, Mac Miller, Juice WRLD, Kendrick Lamar, JID, Earl Sweatshirt, Scarlxrd, and City Morgue nowadays along with the bands I grew up to. All those artists will eventually be outdated as well one day unfortunately. I guess all i'm trying to say is that bands may be outdated, but people will never stop listening to them. Nothing should ever stop people from listening to them either, or else people are just listening to what's hip to try to fit in.
      PS Bands from the 90s and early 2000s have more talent than 80% of so called "artists" today that make the billboard charts. It's not just my opinion either, It's straight up facts. Learning instruments and utilizing them in ways that bands from that era used them is far more impressive than someone coming into a booth with a beat they didn't even make and making a 2-3 minute song with autotuned vocals. And then only playing half hour shows with a backtrack and having the DJ or the paid musicians/dancers be the real star of the show.
