      737 diesel I have a 1990 that I made all white with the stock decals. Very happy with how it turned out.

      @@FreedomInc because I live in canada and have to buy most of my parts from the USA. With bike cost, shipping and rate of exchange. The total was $4300 CAD. Living in the USA, the total cost would be around 3k USD.

    BEAUTIFUL work!!! I used to race a 1989 Honda CR 250 and later a 1994 Honda CR 250. Hearing the sound of a two stroke starting and running brought back so many fond memories. That one sounded really "throaty" for a 125!! Thank you so much for making this video!!!

      Thank you. It is a great way of doing it. You do have to be careful or you can melt plastic easy. Once that happens you can get it back.

    That’s a clean 1990! It’s cool to see a completely redone one and done the right way too! I made my ‘90 500 all white with the stock decals and seat since I haven’t seen other people do it. I made a video on it in case anyone wants to duplicate the same look or has questions about it. I’m excited to see more builds on this channel!

      @@TNTMOTO on offerup.com.i got it for 700.its a 125 bored to 144,it needs a few parts to get it in riding condition but it has good compression and runs and sounds good,so by spring it will be in good shape.

    Great job restoring tank and airbox, I'm going to try that next time I do the piston on my '98 CR250...
    A trick I learned from my dad ...When seating a new bearing is not only warming the housing, put the bearing in the freezer, they drop in like butter.

      These bearings were placed in the freezer. One went in like butter. the other needed a little help.

    Great video! The large majority of "restorations" on TH-cam are just dudes tearing down and old bike, buying $5K worth of new parts and rebuilding the bike. You actually used a large number of the original parts... to include the plastic! Well done! Great video!

    Super cool video. I dig the outdoor bench setup & the plastic re-finishing. I need to learn how to do that for the 1990 CR500 project. Can I pick your brain about what's needed? I'll scroll through your other videos too in case that's something you've already covered. Great vid.

      Thanks. I do have a video on the plastic restoration. Will be doing a new one this summer as I have moved to using a palm sander to speed the whole process up. Ask anything you want. Cant wait to see your 500 all done up.
