As a new V rising player that have had a smooth ride all the way up until Leandra this series are awesome. You earned yourself a sub and several likes.
Yeah I’m in act 3 now, I’m just sad that there’s no real PvE endgame and I can’t really see that there will ever be. I’m sure I (with a bit more experience) would love to play a wipe on a PvP server but being a oldie that not always can play for hours upon hours I don’t see myself ever so that. So after Adam I’ll probably drop the game until 1.0 or at least next expansion.
@@ZeDDiE1000 something you can try with PvP servers if you do get the itch is to look for one that has gated progression. There are a lot of private servers that do that, that give around a week before all shards etc are able to be claimed. They essentially "unlock" each new zone 1 day at a time. Depending on your playtime, you can usually stay with the pack so to speak as the zones unlock.
Just did my first PVP server last night and it was alot of fun. Already had some knowledge from private PVE servers with friends but I used your videos for reference and made was able to get to tier 2 iron and cotton in an hour like you said. Very good run, grouped up with a couple of randoms and we made it from alpha to adam in right around 12 hours. I love this game it's a really cool mix of experiences thats gonna keep me coming back from time to time. I like that you can take it at your pace and have crazy fast progession runs or just casual for fun runs doing all the bosses with fancy bases and still not be overwhelmingly outclassed at any point. Theres not much point for overgeared players to hunt lower level players so it feels pretty good IMO. In a way the hunt for shards extends PVP protection for people lagging behind because groups focused on them will want to keep progessing towards it. that with the combination of starting pvp protection and stone walls makes the game not feel too punishing for casual players like myself and my friends. Taking a small break before watching the server kill us for the shards, that sound be fun lol. I will definitely play other servers once in awhile and can't wait to see other updates and dlcs in the future ^_^
Awesome to hear! PvP usually isn't as bad as people think. There are definitely intense servers, but like you said, a lot of times people are just focused on progress.
These series are pretty amazing there are always lot of new players cus of update who dsnt know how progression works and even returning players who hv forgotten about game
Looking forward to the next episode Octavian fight, took me 3 rt days to kill him, can't wait to see what strat you used. I ended up using skele reaper and a lot of running and healing. I love watching/listening to these playthroughs while playing
Octavian strat was pretty good this time around. I forgot I can quincey ult him though, and messed it up once I did remember (patrol got pulled unfortunately). Good fight nonetheless!
Blood Rite + ward of the Damnned allows you to kill him in regular Hollowfang + iron weapon. His only dangerous attack is spin2win and you blood rite through that. Now that you can ult to cancel it's even easier. If you feel you're capable of doing so, feel free to use slasher e to cancel spin2win, but it's not strictly nessecary.
Razer Serpent cloak? Did they do a promotion deal with Razer? I usually find those kind of things cringey, but I have to admit a cloak that matches my keyboard would be kinda cool.
Heyy man, unrelated to the vid, but i wanna hear your opinion. Why do servers die in this game when ppl get to late game? Why dong ppl stay to siege each other?
There's a lot of reasons, but the biggest ones I'd say are that there is almost nothing to do at end game other than raiding, and raiding feels very lopsided one way or the other. Either the defenders have full servants and are online to defend a raid against 2 people and stomp them, or they get offlined. On officials, you also have the added issue of multiple vampires coming to disrupt the raid by either killing the raiders or teaming up with the raiders and stomping the raided castle. It's why private servers with shard limits, raid rules, and smaller raid windows tend to last way longer. This run is on a private server, and there were consistently 20+ people on every time I played, and it's been going since gloomrot launch.
@@terribletimmy2 Thanks man. One more question, do you think the Devs should add more incentives to fight in the open world and siegeing? I was thinking maybe add a resource that only dead Vampires drop and another which Castles drop when using keys on them, so that people are more inclined to fight when they see each other. Maybe a resource that transform into a item that you can use to Upgrade the stats of your Legendary Weapons little by little and other stuff. In my little experience, when im farming, other players see me and they act friendly towards me, and on one hand i like when ppl are good and i dont wanna be a Asshole and fight them lmao, but on the other i wished it was more like Rust where is KOS, which gives more adrenaline lmao.
@@johnx140 yeah I know what you mean. In my experience, official servers are very often like what you're describing. People too scared to fight. What I would suggest is giving a private server a try when they next wipe. Eternals, Soulsprout bandits, BloodThirst, Karen and the Boys, Embrace the suck are all great and have tons of PvP. Very serious players though as they've all been running since launch, so you're in for stout competition
i think you worry to much about getting free stuff ^^ You can get so many free bosses even in single player. Free double kill on Krigg & Meredith is so consistent it should be part of anyone's progression and usually after getting those two i try to find Bane and instigate a fight between him and Jade / Christina / Vincent. Not as consistent as the Iron Mine but still soo worth it.
If I was doing a 'normal' run, then I'd have no problem just taking everything I find and getting free stuff. For this series though, I'd rather show "legit" stuff as much as I can so that it's not just me walking around an established server looting decayed castles and stuff haha
This series made me a sub. Very nice and compressive explained while also not too slow.

Glad you enjoyed! The game gets super crazy as you go on, especially in Act 2 and beyond! Enjoy!

Dope. Never really thought much about stacking debuffs on bosses, but it's clearly very effective
Condemn + Ignite is very strong

That's my goal! Get the info to people so they can enjoy a fresh run!
The timing on those coffins :D at 38:03

After restart when I was in haunted iron mines, Meredith and the general were fighting each other, I got both v bloods pretty much free lol.
Yes!

Yes they did. Hopefully they do another soon!
very cool
How do you get the Stygian wolf form? It looks pretty cool
It is part of the founders pack
why is your chests and coffin glowing? mine isnt
edit: also gg, you make it look easy
It's a special skin they gave out in the halloween event last year. I'm sure they'll have it this year as well!

I think they giga nerfed the scourgfestone thing
i went in twice and first was 2 and second was 4 so rip
Keep in mind this one was done on a 1.5x server, but yeah even then that's really really low
@@terribletimmy2 though 1.5x was only speed not drop rate
Yeah I'll be double checking it soon to see what it looks like now.
