With numerous people reporting occasional missed triggers and occasional complete reboots, both of which I also have experienced, I wouldn't use it live for any performance. I do like it a lot most of the time, but it simply doesn't seem to be absolutely reliable.
I've used my Alesis Strata live. It sounds great but I've come across some dead zone on the snare a couple of times. I did change the curve from linear to log 2 and 3 which I think helped solve that. I can still play some ghost notes. 😁
I've found, when on the threshold screen, it seems to miss hits on the snare. Almost like it can't keep up. I believe that's the only time this issue has arrived. Try it without being on that screen and see if that helps.
Thank you for your help but it continues to do so. I had it on the kit screen and still. As if it senses the vibration of my bass player. I believewhen loud sounds occur, its when it acts up @derekmaynard5619
I wish they would make a specific video of EXACTLY how to split the channels. Yes, there are 4 additional 1/4" outs but I fail to comprehend how using for instance 3/4 for Hi Hat, then 3/4 for cymbals could be separated in the mix to the board. More clarity please..there are NO videos on stage set up.
That okay with outputs, but why not give the Option to make 3/4 ,5/6 as Direkt Out???That make Mix realy easy....realy not unterstand that, hope comes a update for that!!!Please
Why Alesis Do not Direkt outputs????Thats realy easy...Realy not understand that....great Kit but thats my hope comes in Future update, the Strata need that Option Realy!!
When you hard pan all of your inputs to break it out into 6 outputs, does it apply to all of the preset kits, or do you have to apply the settings to every preset separately?
Having to pan stuff in the main mixer just to be able to use direct outputs is not acceptable for a flagship! If there would be a routing pannel or a separate mixer for that so the mix remains same for headphones, it would make more sense. Also, there is no mention of saving kits or global backups to USB or an SD card... and there is no multichannel over USB which is a norm for a flagship as well...
