- The H-3 Nozzlenose in Splatoon 3 has either got to be the WORST support weapon or HARDEST Support Weapon to get used to.
This weapon in previous games had a lot going for it given the loads outs it had. But in Splatoon 3 its rare to find an H-3 Nozzlenose due to its Special Weapon, Sub Weapon and shooting in general.
In this video i show you How the H-3 Nozzlenose SHOULD be played in Splatoon 3 Ranked.

H3 was my favorite in S2 but it's tough in this game. I was playing it a little bit last night on Splat Zones and it's pretty great. It paints like crazy and the range is enough to keep the enemy pushed back. The point sensor is good to keep the enemy on their back foot and track them so you can land all 3 shots.
the sound when you hit all 3 shots is so satisfying
I JUST started learning how to play H3 this week. The point sensors are indeed amazing, but having juice for its special makes it utterly dependent on good teammates. I hope they gave it a more varied kit in the future.
tbf you can carry with the weapon even if ur teammates are meh, it just requires an unbelievable amount of skill due to how difficult it is
yeah, i really hate what they did with the h3 in splatoon 3 and gave it a very passive support sub and special kit that gives you no ability to hold ground on your own
in splatoon 1 the kits were great because vanilla h3 had suction to cover for echolocator, h3-d had zooka to cover for sensor and cherry h3 was an amazing immovable bulwark, but in splatoon 3 you dont have a sub or special that you can use to hold or take ground on your own

I started using the L3 has a joke with friends at first but then I decided to try it out more and now I have it 4☆
The Nozzlenose is oddly really fun to use, I can't wait for more versions of it
I have 5⭐ with the L3 nozzlenose. Got it 2nd october week and reach S+ with. It took me 1month very very hard...
I still need to use the l3 nossle tbh there really fun tapper weapons just my aiming cam be anywhere sometimes
I picked up the L3 after getting teally frustrated fighting it in splatoon 2
And then it became one of my more played weapons in 2 and in 3 its one of my most played weapons
Sadly the Splash o matic has a complete stranglehold on the Crab Tank market as every other weapon with that special is automatically competing with splash so they need to have different role/purpose to be considered a viable choice. It's a shame that Splash is so well rounded that you need to specialize in a different niche to be considered optimal with crab tank at top level
The L3 really needs burst bombs to get that one tap. Crab Tank is strong but like it was mentioned, it competes with the Splash. Personally I'd like to see future versions get either the Booyah bomb, Inkstrike, or even the Wavebreaker.
It’s extremely fun, a sort of backline/support weapon. I’ll be using it for this splatfest for Team Water!

I'm going to be picking Sprigatito for my starter in the new game, but I'm on Team Water for Mudkip, Oshawott, and Popplio.
It was driving me crazy that he kept not picking up his own drink from the Tacticooler.

Quite different from the L3. Pretty heavy to use but that one burst kill feels good.
Dude is literally placing the half of his tacticoolers, but don't get his drink😂
i love this weapon so much. even if the kit is lacking, the weapon is so rewarding and has such a high skill ceiling with such a unique and specific playstyle nothing really compares to how fun it is.
Point sensor is my favorite sub by far but I don't like any of the weapons it's on in splatoon 3. Might try and get better with the H3 anyway though.
point sensor feels much more useful in this game due to ninja squids buff
My problem with the H-3 is that you have to be REALLY good with the main gun because it's kit doesn't give you any damage or protection besides it, I hope they do another cherry with a splash wall because I loved those in Splatoon 1 & 2
You should definitely practice with L3 before using the H3. L3 is more forgiving when missing a full burst because of its higher fire rate. Helps ensure that you get practice hitting a full burst which you need to be able to for H3.

I've been playing some H3 and I kinda like. A good long range support option with a potential one shot
Ah yes, the weapon that gets 8 times more Point Sensor assists than actual kills for its KD ratios.
When first playing splat 3, I honestly wasn't sure if assists counted in the KD ratio, but playing this weapon very quickly solidified that this was the case lol. It was hard for me to actually connect all three shots of the burst shots on a moving target and the wait time between one burst and the other usually gives slayers and backliners alike enough time to kill me or reposition themselves so i miss/am not in range. So yeah its not an easy weapon to play from what i can see.
as a Hydra main, tacticooler does basically nothing for me for some reason, it doesn't seem to give run speed while charging or shooting your splatlings so it's only good for the run speed or respawn boosts
I recently been using the L-3, And, I gotta say, it IS a pretty good supportive weapon. And I'm an InkBrush and Dapple Main.
Hope to see more L3 players like myself.
People don t want to play it cause it s too hard and there are no more MPU.
I am L3 user since 2015 and i never feel tired of it. I dont need MPU to get kill just need to be accurate and get skill.
@@3lttlbirds Too hard? It's Mash, Ink, Assist, Repeat! Simple formula for an A-Tier weapon. On my list, anyway.
H-3 main since Splat 1. Point Sensors are fantastic with the H-3. I just hope the other variations have better kits. Big Bubbler or missiles like the H-3 D in 2 would work well with it. As frustrating as it can be, I still love using it.

What society needs is the S1 cherry kit w/ wall and big Bubbler specifically. It completely ignores any semblance of being support and instead becomes essentially a work of art when playing it.
As someone who has played h3 online only one time in the last 7 years, it felt pretty good. A long range paint support with juice was a nice change from all the other shorter range supports, although I find fighting with it very hard. Dynamo has also been pretty fun recently for similar reasons. High range, good paint, possible oneshots. I might actually pick this funny hose thing up!
I don't like burst weapons, but Point Sensor was always very usefull.
Nice gameplay also I found a funny feature, the tacticooler can protect you, I dono how much hp it has tho.
Been using it a little bit recently because of this video. Def feels great to use. Throwing a lot of sensors is the way to go.

The problem is unless you have a turbo controller, your finger will hurt from the constant 3 round burst.
I bought one for animal crossing bell ticket grinding and I tried it with the h3 and it became full auto
I actually thought I got better at the H3 in this game beaause i've been getting 21kills games and then realized it's probably a lot of assists with point sensor.
At this POINT Dude's goin wild with that SENSORship stuff

Oddly enough, when I started maining H-3, I've been getting more kills than my other mains (Not even mostly assists). There's just something that works with this weapon.
The same reason why point sensor is good on h-3 is the same thing i think for squiffer too. The special for squiffer is a bit conflicting though
I like the point sensor, but I feel like it should have some chip damage, even if its extremely small. Maybe a smaller radius, but 15 points damage, so it's a bit more skill based?
I have 2 main weapons its either H 3 or explosher, with bothe you need at least decent aim so these two match up pretty well. These two weapons also were my main weapons in splatoon 2, i realy love these.
H3 is still fine, but the 20% ink eff nerf that happened because it had damage up in splat 2 is definitely still hurting it. Greatest strength is paint power at mid range, hopefully we'll see a nice new kit in the future.
finally, someone talks about h3. this weapon is so fun to use but i only see another h3 player once in a blue moon.
I have a meme gear build with h3 that has 25 AP Sub Power Up which gives 13.25 seconds of tracking. It’s very funny chucking sensors all game with opponents permanently marked.
You know tacticooler isn’t very good when dude never grabs the juice even when he’s the guy who has it
It might just be because the aim is more stable in this game, but I’m able to use this much more effectively than in splatoon 2. It just feels so much easier to hit directs.
I kinda hate H3 because of the way it shoots but I've played so many salmon run rotations with it, that I feel like I could like it if I tried it out in Turf or even ranked.
I usually play either dualies or squiffer so something less agressive would be interesting.
Think I'm gonna try it out sometime.

Ink Resistance is great for H3, other skills would be preference.
Huh...the way you use the Tacticooler, I would almost think you were baiting yourself. Lol
I like Sheldon’s description of the weapon and it’s perks. You can’t go trigger happy, so use point sensor to make those shots count and place em’ in the correct spot.
Tacti-cooler buffs are great for the team.
I started using this weapon a few hours before this video was posted. I knew it had great potential, it just makes me happy how a pro make all it’s uses shine.
So I used h3 in the recent salmon run rotation and loved it, I tried it in ranked, first match I had I got like 20 splats with it (that's a lot for me, I am bad, in general) and then the next 4 matches I got absolutely demolished lol
I played the H3 for basically all of the last splatfest. It was fun but I had horrible wrist pain afterwards :')
H-3 Nozzlenose is one of the most difficult weapons in this game and I really enjoy it.

I have always Liked H-3 Nozzlenose but I am absolutely garbage with it

in s1 and s2 i always had some unknown hatred for nozzlenoses - in s3, after messing around with squeezer, ive kinda wanted to use nozzlenoses cuz they seem fun :3
Same I think on s2 i used only the k l3 once just because I was playing with a randomizer but in s3 I tried the h3 a bit more and it is not as bad as I thought it was
If we get a wall/big Bubbler H-3 I highly recommend you try it as it's one of those weapons like Ballpoint that just makes everything about the game click together beautifully when playing it.
Before I watch here's my take:
1. H3 gets outranged by plenty of other midliners
2. One-burst is harder to land and less consistent than any charger
3. Point sensor is ok but tacticooler has no synergy with the weapon.
Going to use h3 more, it’s accuracy and killing power is extreme. One just have to play mid field aggressively and support for any objective
This gun just sorta blows in turf war, though I’m also not the greatest at landing shots

As a newer player who just picked up the Nozzlenose, I can’t see this weapon being harder to use than any of the blasters.
The weapon supports really well, but really struggles splatting, which is why it’s not played much at all probably

I kinda mained l3 in the 2nd and 3rd game and would say that it is a bit harder than h3
Its not hard but the kit is what makes it bad
If it weren't a hard weap to use, more people would use it. For example, sploosh has a terrible kit but people pick it quite often because of how easy it is.
Splatoon 3 has a focus on trying to make secondary buffs for the whole team but not having them be good enough with fear that it’ll make them too op.
Nothing like a long-barreled revolver.
this is kind of a dumb question, but does intensify action help with aim?
For the H-3 it does nothing for aim
If weapons have bad junp accuracy it will improve it.
For the h3 it will do nothing.
i feel like this weapon would be super fun if they increased the actual fire rate of the burst (not the delay between bursts) to make it somewhat like a G11 type weapon. i don’t know if that would be OP tho
genius idea. I don't think it'd be op at all, it'd just make it a LOT better. the slow burst makes it so you often won't hit every shot which is a huge downfall

Even after watching this, I still don't get why I would make my life significantly harder with this while I could use a pro, a jet squelcher or even a .52 for similar results
Yeah perfect accuracy is nice, but the range on the H3 is deceptively short and IA can make rng a lot more bearable on other weapons that don't have a century of downtime between shots; not to mention that the perfect accuracy is kind of a requirement for this weapon to even have a chance of working as a 1shot
I noticed during your gameplay that occasionally you wouldn’t grab the tacticoolers you threw out. I’m curious to know if that was a purposeful decision to stay sneaky or did you just happen to forget those times? @@df63vu3f73k nah 😂 have quit the game since making this post . It’s not a skill issue when you’re queueing in to every match 2v4 due to the fact half your team is incompetent. And when queued with a decent team games were always even competitive and enjoyable .
@@hunterquillen3706 no. There is obviously some skill issue going on. s+ lobbies are decent like 95% of the time. I’ve queued at many different times of the day and none of them have I ever had very incompetent teammates

I mean, kit's not that bad, it's just very dependent on the main weapon so it's a different experience.
I feel like H-3 is in a weird spot atm. First of all tacticooler isn’t used as much as other supportive options and even if you were to run a tac, you’d probably pick zap anyways for faster and more aggressive potential. But I feel like for solo especially because Ninja is being used a lot rn, point sensor really isn’t that bad. Not as good as lethals but not terrible
Because your aim has to be damn near perfect with H-3, the Point Sensor is actually pretty useful for tracking here. On top of that, H-3 is the only slayer weapon with Point, so it allows you to be an annoying 6 year old ratting out the enemy team.
I just wish na players weren't so scared to push in clam blitz. Like bro we got to dudes down just fucking move forward

Just a criticism, not trying to be rude.
But the intro felt a little too long, it took around a minute and a half. If you could cut it down to a very brief summary then let the video speak for itself that could be nice. Although I will admit I have yet to finish it

Hey DUDE what's you opinion on eeltail zones? I feel like the zone is way to large with too many obstacles and I really dislike the map for zones but I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion
