The only way to do this automatically with no work from you is to have a "live feed" of coupon from some third-party site. Some large affiliate programs like Commission Junction and Share-A-Sale have live feeds that may be helpful. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the video and useful information. I did change to "no" "Allow search engines to show this Page in search results?" and "Should search engines follow links on this Page?". Unfortunately the page I wanted to hide (on Wordpress is Privatly Published status and Private Visibility) still appears on Google. Any other ideas how to hide the page? Thanks
Hi Natasha, unfortunately it's up to search engines to honor your request to hide or not. If you want to be 100% sure it'll be hidden you would have to make the page viewable only to people who are logged in.
The way you had the robots.txt file at the END showing that specific page url; is that saying 'all are not allowed to view that page ONLY'? In that specific case how is it affecting the rest of the site globally? In other words it's saying All are allowed to see everything except JUST that page' correct? What if there was more than one specific page you wanted to disallow. do you just separate them with commas? Thank you ;-) You stuff is great!
What you wrote is correct, "All are allowed to see everything except JUST that page". To disallow more pages you'll need to add each page to a different line like this: disallow: slug disallow: slug disallow: slug Here's a great robots article to check out for more info: www.robotstxt.org/robotstxt.html I hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Need Urgent Help.. Buddypress is not sending activate email after registration, and login page redirect to w-p default page...i am getting frastated after installing this buddypress shit
Do you have a contact form on the site that sends email properly? If so, then there's a problem with BuddyPress. If contact forms also don't send email then there may be a problem with your server settings. The best move is to contact your hosting support in that case and see if they can check the server. For the login page redirecting, you may be able to use one of the plugins in this thread: premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/buddypress-redirect-after-login-page
Thanks you for reply, i solved that issue myself, i replaced buddypress registration and login with ultimate member plugin now everthing is fine.. but i got another issue.. i am using anspress in my website because of theme anspress search box override by theme search. can you please help to get back my anspress search box.. studencafe.co this my website i am using customizr theme
I don't have any experience with anspress, so I'm not sure why it would be causing this issue for you. Your best move is to contact the developer through the plugin page on WordPress.org. Sorry I can't be of more help!
Hey John, people sometimes want to offer a pdf to download after they receive an email address but don't want to go through the pain of setting up a membership site. They would want Google or any other search engine indexing that page. I've heard of some sites offering web versions of email newsletters on hidden pages. There are a number of uses for it. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!
