Hi Mr.Armin 😃 I hope you are Happy shooting those Awesome bows. I love the three Korean bows.🤩 Thanks for the professional comparison. I think I speak for everyone when I say. we appreciate your honest reviews🙏Cheers 😃
Hi, I am Korean. Thank you for your interest in korean Bow. I will always be interested in your channel. The history book even says that the Korean bow technology was really excellent.
I've had my Phoenix about a week now and it's shaping up beautifully. It will take some time to get used to a bow that feels so light but I am enjoying it immensely. For primitive hunters this would make a fantastic hunting bow, small, light, and good in the brush. Worth every cent.
Thanks for the review! Ordered the 53” Monarq. Esthetics were driving me towards the YMG bow you raved about, but I need the extra draw length. I am very satisfied with the Chang An I purchased based on your review. I really appreciate your professionalism and honesty in these reviews. I have to agree, the Skywalk is visually the most appealing of the three from Daylite.
I still would say the Monarq is 100% similar to the White Feather Forever Carbon. Absolutely identical looking. The difference is the writing on the limbs and the available draw weight. And the price, of course. The White Feather FC in 53" is only 150€ (available from 20 to 55#)😉 I was stunned, when I fist saw the Monarq, because I own a White Feather FC and thought that must be the same bow🤔
Great to see all three bows side by side and get a good comparison, looks like there's a reason to get each of the bows, and that looks aren't everything! Thanks for the fair review!
Again they are great looking bows. Right now some one has a 35# & A 40# Monarq on eBay right now starting at $159. Thank you sir for your review on these 3 bows. 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
Thanks again Armin. For those interested in the Monarq bow, you can find it on eBay $230 free shipping, with a choice of 48” or 50”, up to 60#, still with the 2 year warranty. At this price I couldn’t argue against the Monarq, 48” and 50#. When you search on eBay, “daylite archery premium Korean bow” will find it but “Monarq”will not. Cheers
Kia ora Armin. Thank you for the side by side by side review. Well done! I reckon I just have a bias against the way Korean bows flex differently in the upper and lower limbs. Kia mihi as always.
Nice side by side comparison. Sadly, it can be very difficult in today's world of "everything sold online" to differentiate similar items, without either buying one of everything...Or having an expert "Armin" to help advise you. Lucky for us ...we have access to the latter.
Thanks for the review harmin and for the job and talking about of three of them i think i like the monarc, free shipping for me it’s an import thing in the time to choose a bow over, i don’t remember how many money you pay for shipping in a skywalk? ( i don’t know) but maybe can make the diferent to choose a monarc over skywalk
Armin Hirmer, all free shipping? well with this information the skywalk has more options to buy it but for me don’t see the lamination of the monarc doesn’t change my opinion, i vote for the monarc 🙂
Hey Armin, I have a tough decision to make, and its deciding between kaya's windfighter ktb and numair archery's new scythian "Sitian" bow. The wind fighter is definitely a safer choice but theres something special owning a scythian design that draws up to 32".
That presents a very interesting dilemma. I too was keen to the Starfighter when Armin first reviewed it, but the Scythian is just such an elegant piece of work. I would love to be able to release both for a day or two. Best wishes.
Greetings from Canada Master Armin. I have 3 Daylites. #50@44” Skywalk, #55@48” Monarq and #60@53” Majesty. Question: Whats the lightest arrow weight would you use for each ? I love speed but not at the expense of near dry fire. Btw, i have 350,400,500&700 spine shafts, 100,125grain tips. 3,5,8inch feathers. Buiding arrows very soon.
@@ArminHirmer Thankyou very much Master Armin. I hope you have yourself a warm and safe Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. God bless you and your loved ones.
I totally love Armin he has made me a better archer and I love bows of all kinds its just i can't seem to get over how plastic rubber and cheap the bows out of Korea appear to me elegant is not a word i can use to describe these Korea bows .now in the Korean movie war of the arrows or arrow the ultimate weapon that Korean bow in the movie that was elegant. There was one Korean bow Armin reviewed for a customer that had real horn on the belly the rest synthetic and Armin was killing his own arrows and it was the one he was saying didn't want to draw at first and then you warm it up and wham he would do khatra and it was beautiful but other then that excellent review and a bow that was made to ka KhAaa KHATRAAAAA !!! But hey we get there.
Got my phoenix a week ago. Although I like the carbon tape of the monarq I don't want to pay more for this. The sywalk is simply ugly with the name on the inside of the upper limb. Lower limb is fine bit the upper should be blank.
Hi Armin, great video as always , I wanted to ask is monarq a laminated bow ? Will it stay laminated in a country like Pakistan, where there is good amount of humidity ?
its a laminated bow. here in Malta its humid and hot too. I think it will work as long as you don't force your bow to the max draw and string it properly
tiburciolapanak hey, there I have a Monarq and I also have a traditional Chinese warbow. The Monarq has almost little to no vibration. It’s lighter, stronger and faster than my chinese warbow. Drawing back is so easy and I have a 40 pound for my monarq and 35 for my chinese warbow and yet the monarq is still easier to drawback. Also, it’s so accurate! You won’t regret getting the Monarq, it’s worth the pay.

They're beautiful bows, and no doubt they are good quality, but I really don't like the sound they make. That slap doesn't sound appealing to me 😁

for now as far as I know the new Scythian from Numair does 30"... I hope to get one soon

Meant Windfighter not Starfighter. Sorry
@@ArminHirmer I've asked him and he said it draws smooth to 31.5~ inches. I hope a review is coming soon in this channel
