    In this lecture Abdurraheem Green addresses the age-old question, "Does God Exist ?" The lectures begins by defining what a God is and continues to explore why it is common sense to believe in a Creator. He then brings forth the evidences from the Muslim Holy Scripture, The Quran, to detail the existence of the one true God.
    Abdurraheem Green was born to British parents in Darussalam in Tanzania in 1964. He was educated at a famous Roman Catholic Monastic School called Ampleforth College. He went on to study History in the London Univerity before he embraced the religion and became a well known caller to Islam.

    With the case of evolution, no matter what you find in nature (fossil records, molecular analysis, anatomy etc...) scientists always manage to imagine a way to fit it into the grand scheme of the evolutionary theory (by rearranging cladograms etc...). In a sense it is a non-disprovable theory. Not in a sense how all truth is disprovable (though it may appear to be so). But in a sense that there are no experiments that can be performed to invalidate the theory.

  • @Ozzyman200
    @Ozzyman200 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, probability is simply the likelihood of something happening. Beliefs are not certain for anyone, they are simply wishful thinking if they are not based on evidence. You acknowledge that god is not in the real world, i.e. not real, hence you are an atheist. Welcome aboard!

    It is all conjecture.
    That is the only problem I have with evolution as a scientific theory. Most hard science theories are built around the fact that you constantly try to disprove them (nothing can be proven, however you can gain evidence to support it) and upon withholding the test of time and scrutiny, they begin to hold more and more credibility.

  • @Ozzyman200
    @Ozzyman200 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    Indeed, you make an excellent case for agnosticism. Remember though, that even though we can't quite prove whether he exists or not, we can make a probability speculation if you will. Certainly all the evidence points away fro mthere being a god. If there is a god, he's hiding himself very well indeed.

  • @Zendrig
    @Zendrig 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do not deny that this lecture was simple and informative. I am just disappointed, that he used such an unfair analogy because evolution doesn't work like that. It has no designer but results in complex structures nonetheless.

  • @megn94
    @megn94 14 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @Ozzyman200
    @Ozzyman200 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, probability is the opposite of certainty. Probability is simply the likelihood of something happening. If you are not talking about the real world, then what you say is simply not true. You assume I have atheist beliefs- then you do not understand the word atheist. I have no beliefs. I live in the real world. Do not assume there is a god. Assuming is always a mistake.

  • @tommyceverywhere

    Do you think that God would a prove of this world today?, do you think the media knows whom God is, I don't think anyone can say God exist or does not exist if he does not obey the Bible in which God has given vision and dreams that can be interpret through faith that can provide a holy spirit that can live within.

    What was the original function of male nipples with regards to evolution if it is considered a vestigal body part?

  • @darketernal3
    @darketernal3 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    Intelligent design arguments...
    Termite hill is a provable evolutionary behavior evolving from ancestry of termites, An example of this is Ants, since termite hills are optimal, why don't ants use it?
    Design implies irreducable complexity. There is no evidence of such complexity that it can not be evolved. To bridge the gap of sand to cell is falacious. Can chickens fly an extended period of time? Can they breath under water? To assume the latter is the same as assuming cell from sand.

    Dear Mr. Green,
    Your speech is nice and i like it, but it lacks proper reasoning. Besides, parts of your reasoning contradicts other part. For example, you say your creator does not need anything or anybody.
    Yet you claim that this creator chose Mohammad as a mean or tool to send his messages to humans!!! How is it possible? A creator who does not need anything and at the same time need his creation!
    Simply say you don't know and don't insult people's intelligence with your absurd reasoning!
