How to Set A G-Shock Watch: Troubleshooting H-Set

This video shows you how to use the H-Set function on the Casio G-Shock GA-100-1AER. You may require this if the time is setting up incorrectly or if the digital and analog time are not synchronising. The H-Set is correcting the hand home positions which is usually required if your watch has had an impact or has been exposed to strong magnetism. ive had my gshock for about 2 years now and 2 days ago the digital and hand time were no longer synced when i noticed the h-set was flashing (never used before) spent at least a hour before bothering to google and this video fixed it within 2 minutes. thanks

Personal note: when it’s day light saving and time to adjust an hour, go to normal day mode where it has the day and time. Then hold adjust. It should move the time back or forward an hour. If that doesn’t work do what the video says.
To tweak it to your exact time, after following the videos instructions. Go into the normal time mode and hold adjust to tweak it to your exact time.
Once I’ve set the new time

For this model the ‘forward’ button should be the light function in timekeeping mode. When you are using the ‘mode’ and ‘adjust’ functions the ‘forward’ button should not be acting as a light. Thanks!
