I played tenkaichi competitive during ps2 and yes you can dodge the dash but it’s all in timing. Punching then blocking allowed for a counter setup and it’s funny how they didn’t mention how night can cause great apes for characters. That’s why kid gohan and this demo had no night maps

My only complaint is the character select screen. They're going for a minimalist design but it's way too cluttered with all the transformations, which gives it the complete opposite effect. Make it like one of the previous Tenkaichi games where you select a character and then it opens a list of variants to choose from. That would clean it up so much.

Do you guys remember how in Naruto Clash Of Ninja (Gamecube, PS2 I think) how when characters would hit each other at the exact same time, there was like a freeze frame and a translucent sphere would appear around where they hit? How would you guys feel if they added that here? When they hit each other at the same time, it doesn't really seem like much happens. Theres small effects and an audio queue, but I feel like the effect could be more noticeable, letting everyone know "hey, they hit each other at the exact same time"
