You know... I never actually thought about it, but I never knew flies lay their eggs on top of the food. When I think maggots, I automatically picture them crawling inside and kinda figured that the eggs are lain underneath the surface... The more you know, I guess...
They do their best to lay the eggs in orifices or covered ares (between toes or behind ears) which is why it often looks like maggots are coming out of the organism
Can someone explain what happened macroscopically? The maggots never turned into adult flies? Is this because there were too many maggots and they ran out of food to sustain that next stage in the cycle? And are the maggots towards the end trying to eat each other?
They do. After they are full, they hibernate and turn into hard shell /puppa . Then become fly. Maybe this guy give his chicken all his maggot to his chicken 😓
Imagine how it would smell in his projects like these.... No one could imagine..... And the form having to touch this madness... Luckily for us we are not forks
Sorry for being dumb .... but how do maggots get inside the meat and consume it?? they hatch from flies eggs or what?? I can't understand how perfectly good meat is consumed by maggots in a few days. How they develop???
yes, for these ones I did it in a photo box tent, with the front side open and it was in a small barn like isolated room, which had a cracked window, and it was shot may to september, not in cold season. the box opening was not facing the window, it was facing the opposite wall so no direct wind would come in, the crack in the window was about 10 sq cm, so enough for insects to come in. also in a rural area :) I didn t really plan it, that s what I had available for such a project… I asked a friend to give me a place in an abandoned old factory of his lol
not really:)) it s abt having the right setup to do it… cleaning is the nightmare… this was one of my first timelapse films, I have put a photo box and 2 cameras in an annex with a cracked window, put the meat inside and came back 2 weeks later :)) it was a horror movie afterwards, cleaning was disgusting, my karcher vacuum still stinks after changing filters n cleaning the pipes :)))
Dont think maggots live in burgers here's what happened: The meat was fine then it started to rot. The Rotting attracted flys. The flys laid their eggs to start the home. The eggs hatched then the maggots took over. Eventually the meat rotted completely which basically made the number of maggots multiply.
they all turn into fly larvae, they feed for abt 5-6 days, then they start to pupate, they seek out a dark dry place, and they transform and develop a black strong shell to protect them while they pupate, then they go back into a fly..
l do this for my chickens, any scraps or offcuts from raw meat on a piece of tin and on top of the chicken run, the maggots start and always move to the outside and fall, free food for chickens.
Guys you gotta be careful Once i made food and brought it downstairs so i closed it and went up to get something and literally 1 minute later i saw that i forgot to close a small part and i see flys in the food white laid so many maggot eggs on the food i ended up throwing all the food
Once I forgot to put my sausages in the freezer so a couple of flies got on them. Most were intact if not only for one of them. Those white eggs like cotton were on it, I was so fucking disgusted, glad I removed them from the sausage before throwing them away.
Would be fun to see normal minced meat side-by-side with McDonald's one that they use for burgers to see if burger meat takes 10 years to eat or if they will eat it at all.
Didn't think you would actually do this but I would go to mcdonalds during less busy hour when you are likely to be only one talking to cashier and tell honestly. If they say no then just buy burger and extract meat there, and then cook your own meat like that to have similar starting conditions for both. If you get raw meat you might even get comparison meat from small farmer family owned shop from country side as they may not be able to afford as high standards as big chains and big farmers.
Do those maggots ever turn Into flies? for some reason i can't seem to find any unedited time lapse of a fly from a maggot if thats where they come from. Or can someone investigate. Every video I've come across is inconsistent on the birth of a fly i would assume that the maggots would have turned into a bunch of little flies in the time frame but i don't have a clue
yes they most definetly do, they puppate when their skin turns very dark like a protective shell, during this phase their transform into a fly, firstly eggs hatch in larvae in abt 10-20 hrs after laying them, the larvae move about for 2-3 days and get bigger abt 0.7 inches while they feed, and after they pupate and then transform into flies. in 2 days the new flies are ready to reproduce again , they stay pregnant for 24 hrs. that s why so many flies :))
after it dried out, it wasn t so bad. the nasty ones I ve done are in a special room , with a cracked window, hence the flies , it has also some ventilation, the bad thing was the maggots :))

ive watched a lot of these and i have to say this is my favourite by far
I am flattered :) thanks! I ve changed my studio into something bigger to be able to provide more and better!
Something tells me You're not my type...sorry.
I like the part where the meat just dances around for a bit.
it was alive, somehow 😀😋
Gives me the chills every time I see maggots
So those little thingies that I thought were small garlic flakes, were actually fly maggots all over my burger.
...
Oh well, more protein. Lol.
Good luck with those flies in ur house
And this music hahaha I can watch and dance in the same time 😂😂

Suddenly i remember my double cheese burger this morning.
I m kind of confuse, flys lay maggot eggs, those eat the food and then... They die? They don't seem to become a fly too
they do, they pupate, black little things with a hard exoshell which then become flies
I am eating while watching this.
strong man!
Sorry for being dumb .... but how do maggots get inside the meat and consume it?? they hatch from flies eggs or what??
I can't understand how perfectly good meat is consumed by maggots in a few days. How they develop???
watch the video again and you can clearly see how flies deploy their eggs onto it, which in turn develops into maggots!
>finishes eating
>credit card declines
The restaurant: 3:05
My favorite part is when meat starts to dance.
Those maggots were quite literally born to die
Idk why but the maggots were scaring me by them jumping around over the meat and making more maggots
How do you film these rotting meat videos?? Do you set it up in an open room? In a container or something??
yes, for these ones I did it in a photo box tent, with the front side open and it was in a small barn like isolated room, which had a cracked window, and it was shot may to september, not in cold season. the box opening was not facing the window, it was facing the opposite wall so no direct wind would come in, the crack in the window was about 10 sq cm, so enough for insects to come in. also in a rural area :) I didn t really plan it, that s what I had available for such a project… I asked a friend to give me a place in an abandoned old factory of his lol

@@АлександрОрлов-п9ч well that would expand my explaining of the already explanation of the time of the wymrs
Whats really disgusting about this to me is that the maggots are literally eating their own sh*t. That meat doesn't just magically disappear.
What I also find interesting is that if the meat is normal, no one comes.
Only when the meat gets worse do the flies think like that 😋
Was it really stinks when the meat at 1 day to 24
I’m asking because I never smell them before just wondering I enjoy the video
at abt day 5-7 stinks the most, at 15 was already too dry
Just image the smell, yeet
