After 25 years Vacationing In The Smokey Mountains We Will Be Hesitive Choosing The Smokey Mountains Because Of The Bed Bugs That My Family Experienced……….(can You Imagine We Included A Married Senior citizen Couple) and They Woke Up Scratching From Bed Bug Bites

First of all let me say how much I appreciate seeing y’all say grace before you eat. Even if I didn’t care about the content of your video’s (love all the ones I’ve seen of the smokies ) I would subscribe and watch all your videos just to support a channel who is brave enough to share their faith by showing praying before your meals. 👍👍👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
Now to comment on the video content. We used to go to the mountains a few times a year. The last several years we haven’t been able to go anywhere. My husband was in a bad semi wreck with a traumatic brain injury and I was hurt and had spinal surgery but still have major spinal and nerve damage. I visited the area a lot as a child and we were married there in 1987. Our son was on an FFA trip several years ago and actually found the brick at the chapel that had our names and when we got married. Sadly the preacher who married us passed in the fire. We were blessed to have run into him the last time we were there and had a good visit. They were deconstructing the chapel area and he was going to look to see if he could locate our brick to send to us since all our items were lost in a fire.
Since we both have mobility issues now it’s going to be hard to walk and see things so I GREATLY APPRECIATE seeing a sidewalk tour of the strip. Things sure have changed up there. I hope we can get there soon.

Lived in Gatlinburg both up the mountain and downtown i miss it so much so THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS I see alot of people I cared about owners of No Way Jose's is still there I hope the candle place with the cafe on top down by what used to be Mountain Mall hope Mysterious Mansion still is as well. Also was good friends guy that owned Hauntings/Terror on the Parkway yrs ago knew alot of people at Ripley's Believe..Haunted....and Aquarium Oh I miss home so badly should've moved back long ago not so easily done anymore Again Thank You For This

Black BMW that has become famous landmark for people arriving to Gatlinburg. It has its own Facebook group 🤷🏻♂️
I saw a video of the gentleman who owned the BMW/Parton's Deli, and he had sold the deli. He introduced the new owner, and he said everything is to stay the same. Thank you for the great information!

Loving your videos!! Would you say, without regard to pricing, is there any one best, most ideal place to park so that you’re totally at the beginning of one end or the other of the strip? Basically so it’s easy to navigate from Point A to Point B and back again? Thank you!
Thanks Denise! I would say the city parking garage across from Ole Red's or the one behind The Aquarium. They are both $10 for the entire day and would pretty much put you at the main walking end of the parkway. We hope this helps!

I was disappointed that all the gift shops and other shops were no longer at the beginning of the parkway in Gatlinburg from the pigeon forge side....it looked like a ghost town.

Hey KT, I know we have gotten a lot of rain recently, but I have seen it worse in years past. I haven’t seen any reports that would make me think it would restrict your time here. We are away at the moment in Las Vegas but I have not seen any reports that would tell me he would have any issues.
We are visiting this week. Is there anywhere on the edge of "downtown " and ride the trolly into downtown. Wife wants to visit Anakista this trip and I'd like to avoid the traffic. Thanks.
If you are coming from Pigeon Forge/Sevierville you could always park at the Gatlinburg Welcome center for free and jump on the free Gatlinburg Trolley there. I show it in this video here: th-cam.com/video/IJiao9IJpqI/w-d-xo.html

You keep showing parking, hotels & lodges. Gatlinburg is about the many shops, craftsmen and unique shopping.

The daily parking is now 20$ for the day
We just parked at both of the city garages on July 4th (for the Midnight Parade & again later for the Boat races). They were both $10.

As many as you can! 😁 It just depends on what you want to do. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the #1 visited park in the US and there is lots to do. We hope you have a great trip. Lots of restaurant specials in Jan as it's considered off-season.

We typically don’t get snow until January. Though we had a Christmas Eve snow storm 2 years ago, so who knows.
Did you happen to see any places to get coffee in downtown Gatlinburg?
There is a Starbucks right on the main strip you could also check out Coffee Shack, Donut Friar & Maddi Mae's Café & Creamery.

Yes we live in the area, The Smokies have become more special since moving here for us, not less. We go out & try new things, but love just relaxing in our home with an amazing view of the mountains!
