This place was absolutely gorgeous and huge to boot!! 2 story?? very impressive. I loved the rustic but trendy decor. The prices are outrageous , nearly 20 bucks for a burger??? Maybe come here very seldom for special occasions. not value friendly. But you do get to keep your glasses and have live music which is very nice. I don't eat bologna or catfish. Even though Bobbies platter looked pretty good and fried nicely catfish is a bottom feeder. We grew up eating fish every Friday and it was always haddock or Cod no swamp or river puppies. The best battered fish and chips I ever had was in a nice restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay many years back it was absolutely delicious. Thanks for showing us the diversity of restaurants in the Tennessee area. ❤🙏🏻👍🏻

Hi, I was there this past Wednesday night with my husband and son. The upstairs was closed. We enjoyed our dinner and the singer Sarah Collins, she was very good. I agree it was expensive but we were there on vacation so we expected it to be pricey. But we had a good time which is what we want when we're on vacation.

My favorite was from Troyer in Ohio. We got it at the factory that made it. It wasn’t smoked but it was just so good. It’s Trail Bologna and it just had a sweet onion on it. We did a video from here it’s in Trail Ohio. If we lived in the Smokies I would try them all. We only go in this area for a few days around 4 or 5 times a year so can’t try them all even though that is a cool idea. Have a great day😎😎

Hi John and Bobbie. I would order those tater tots on the side because they were so crunchy but I would rather have a bigger portion of the slaw and less fries but the food looked very good. The place is very nice inside and the balcony outside too. The price is a bit more to pay but you get live entertainment and a good dining experience. Good place to eat for a special occasion❤️

I really like OLE RED RESTERAUNT AND GIFT SHOP! Blake Shelton is a great singer! The food really looks good. Nachos I would share! Bobbie: that catfish dinner was really delicious I bet! The fries are so good at a resteraunt! The Cole slaw , yum. John: Pig-n-cheese haven't seen bologna for awhile nice to see. Mac n cheese pork rinds. The crispy tots the crisper the better. Love Blake's resteraunt get to hear the new artists like Megan's voice with NO COVER CHARGE THANKS BLAKE!!!! I think having the gift shop as well is a plus!!! Nice outdoor area upstairs!!! I think I would try the chicken salad or the God's Country hamburger steak!! Yes prices are high but that's due to inflation and Blake Dhelton's name think it was worth it.

Everything looked really good!!! We never went in there. We came back Thursday from our trip. Had a good time, went to some nice places (even went to Dollywood) & ate at some great places. Ate at Aubrey's and The Local Goat for the first time. The weather was perfect. Didn't rain like it was supposed to but it was hot
It is very expensive that’s why we said at the end maybe go in for an appetizer and split it and enjoy the music and atmosphere on a hot day. This is not a place we would go in several times but we did enjoy our visit this day. 😎😎
Blake Shelton isn’t exactly new he’s been around for the last twenty years. But if all you listen to oldies I can understand why you haven’t heard of him. He is probably as popular as Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams. Think those guys.

This is the first review of Ole Red when the food was even decent! Lol. We've been going to Gatlinburg for decades and had by far the worst meal ever at Old Red!!! Great music & atmosphere and fine for music & drinks but do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else. Tom & Earl's is 10 times better and just up the road. (Watch their review!) This was the only place we've ever gone in town where we took a few bites & left. It was just that bad.
We loved the restaurant itself and the atmosphere too but our food was awful. And I mean awful! I thought maybe it was what we ordered but then I read reviews on Yelp & Travel Advisor and the reviews there were terrible and it was only about the food. People know Blake and expected the food to be as good as the restaurant. We felt it's a good place for music and drinks but there are much, much better food options all around Gatlinburg, like Tom & Earl's if you want bar food. We always enjoy your reviews & enjoyed this one too. We love watching you guys.
@@jbinthehills Yeah we loved it. I've always gotten the thick sliced baloney build your own sandwich and Lena has always loved their chili. It's just located way at the end of the alley and I think a lot of people don't even know it's there. Have you guys ever done Boudicca's in the Villages? We've walked by it a hundred times but never eaten there. They've won the Gatlinburger Award a couple of years so it must be pretty good.
Menu prices high. Local diner has good prices, full plates and can take a family there. Difficult to have a conversation in there with loud microphone. I will pass on this place.
Pork Rinds are items I don’t eat that often but on these they weren’t half bad but they take the taste of the Bologna away which I love so I would order them without the Pork Rinds. 😎😎

The fries are so good at a resteraunt! The Cole slaw , yum. John: Pig-n-cheese haven't seen bologna for awhile nice to see. Mac n cheese pork rinds. The crispy tots the crisper the better. Love Blake's resteraunt get to hear the new artists like Megan's voice with NO COVER CHARGE THANKS BLAKE!!!! I think having the gift shop as well is a plus!!! Nice outdoor area upstairs!!! I think I would try the chicken salad or the God's Country hamburger steak!! Yes prices are high but that's due to inflation and Blake Dhelton's name think it was worth it.

Everything looked really good!!! We never went in there. We came back Thursday from our trip. Had a good time, went to some nice places (even went to Dollywood) & ate at some great places. Ate at Aubrey's and The Local Goat for the first time. The weather was perfect. Didn't rain like it was supposed to but it was hot

It is very expensive that’s why we said at the end maybe go in for an appetizer and split it and enjoy the music and atmosphere on a hot day. This is not a place we would go in several times but we did enjoy our visit this day. 😎😎

This is the first review of Ole Red when the food was even decent! Lol. We've been going to Gatlinburg for decades and had by far the worst meal ever at Old Red!!! Great music & atmosphere and fine for music & drinks but do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else. Tom & Earl's is 10 times better and just up the road. (Watch their review!) This was the only place we've ever gone in town where we took a few bites & left. It was just that bad.

We loved the restaurant itself and the atmosphere too but our food was awful. And I mean awful! I thought maybe it was what we ordered but then I read reviews on Yelp & Travel Advisor and the reviews there were terrible and it was only about the food. People know Blake and expected the food to be as good as the restaurant. We felt it's a good place for music and drinks but there are much, much better food options all around Gatlinburg, like Tom & Earl's if you want bar food. We always enjoy your reviews & enjoyed this one too. We love watching you guys.

@@jbinthehills Yeah we loved it. I've always gotten the thick sliced baloney build your own sandwich and Lena has always loved their chili. It's just located way at the end of the alley and I think a lot of people don't even know it's there. Have you guys ever done Boudicca's in the Villages? We've walked by it a hundred times but never eaten there. They've won the Gatlinburger Award a couple of years so it must be pretty good.

Pork Rinds are items I don’t eat that often but on these they weren’t half bad but they take the taste of the Bologna away which I love so I would order them without the Pork Rinds. 😎😎
