I bought a Chinese Car. It's a GEELY EMGRAND SEDAN. I bought it for just 700,000 pesos. It has more features than a 1 million pesos Toyota Vios. I save 300,000 pesos. It's very reliable and an excellent daily driver. Well Done GEELY.

China is too late to the game for legacy gas power engine cars so its smart of them not to play catch up with old Technogiloy and aim for the future. @江南大老高 Europe makes a lot of electric vehicles, far more than USA.
USA only produce tesla and the horrid Ford and lucid Air which will soon disappear and that's about it.
How on earth is USA ahead of European Market or the Chinese for that matter?
Very few people in the world use electric and the Europeans have to think about the rest of the world.
If the transition is made fully (I doubt it. We will probably find a better alternative than electric in the future) , then expect the Europeans and the Japanese to once again be the leaders of the automobile industry.
I'd really like the Chinese to also be included in that race but please don't mention to me USA with their cheap plastic appliances that they call cars as the leading country in electric vehicles. Lol
Electric engines were invented in europe 110 years ago, and were indeed used in the streets of Europe for a while. It just that the ICE engine won the race because they run faster and didn't need constant charging.
You speak of the electric engines as if they are revolutionary. Lol
      They really aren't.

Few of the most well known Chinese electric/hybrid cars are Lixiang One, which translate to ideal one, Hongqi E-HS9, Xpeng P7, and as many of you might’ve heard of before Polestar 2. Lixiang One and Hongqi E-HS9 are built into consideration as a daddy car, with things like a 7 seater, passenger Infotainment screen for movies, TV, browsing online, and so much more. It’s also great for road trip, plenty of back space if youre tired and want to sleep in the back, or when you’re bored and wanna watch a movie to kill time. With that room the car is really outstanding from everything, even the old generations Rolls Royces or Maybachs but it’s electric and really fast. Unfortunately for Europe and especially Switzerland it’s too long with 5,2 Meters to get a normal parking spot. But owners of such limousines do not need to care for, they have a driver. So the price is a bargain for what is offered here. What about WLTP range figures?😎

as a Chinese, I know that there are many automakers in China now are producing some eye-catching vehicles, but compared to those traditional automakers, China still have a long way to go. I admit that our manufacuers are currently really good at designing (in fact, the design mostly outsoursed or hiring some foreign designer), and tones and plethora of flashy electronic gadgets that have not been tested over time in the market. And none of these companies are focusing on the R&D of critical components for any vehicles: engine, gearbox and chassis.
Due to the generous financial subsidies provided by the Chinese government to any enterprise engaged in the production of clean energy vehicles, many traditional automotive brands have initiated extensive joint ventures and restructuring to commence the production of electric vehicles. However, in reality, these automotive companies were originally only manufacturing low-quality traditional petrol vehicles.

The void behind that screen could possibly be for airflow for heating/cooling.
