I cannot believe these guys are missing pockets by long margins and the balls still almost go in. And Jim calls the pockets hard! If you missed the pot by as much as this on normal tables you'd look a complete fool.
I feel for Mike. When a Player has lost his stroke mechanics clearly seen here it goes bad. I know that feelings nothing you can do cause what you're doing to cause it , isn't known to you the player then, so you try to play but everything goes wrong cause of the broken down mechanics, not a fun thing to endure especially at this level
Players stroke mechanism dont go anywhere unless he injury it was purely bad confidence after bad tournament and pressure to play must win match but i get your point
I can't imagine the shame of Dechaine after such a disgusting showing. Could any team ever taking him as a member -- ever again? He should immediately change his name and go into seclusion. In fact, there's strong evidence that he might have been part of a fix -- and an investigation would be in order. Nobody at that level shoots that badly.
U miss key point he was 25y old it was mosconi cup and it was must win game.. when u go to his local pool hall he will run rack after rack.. i remember playing my first local tournament and i was terrified it took couple games to feel normal, just the fact ppl were watchin me play made me nervous cause i did not wanna miss easy shots i dont think there is any other sport what is so nerve wreckin cause easiest shot is so easy to miss when u put lot of spin and tryna cheat pocket so we cant even imagine the pressure this guy felt cause mosconi cup is most respected/prestige event and he did not just play for himself he played for his whole team and country. And lastly many pros have said the pressure is enourmous in mosconi cup. U dont get picked to play team USA by being bum but i know he played very badly and it was cause his whole tournament went pretty bad and there he was with top and i mean TOP players so his confidence was non existing at this point after he started this game poorly too
I'm sorry but Mike Dechaine is a good player with a lot of fire power. First off, anyone who thinks Mike Dechaine is a bad player does not know anything about pool and I challenge you to play him for money. He did not get to be the second ranked player in the US from dogging it. Secondly, they are playing in the Mosconi Cup, the highest stress tournament there is in the game of pool. You think you can beat Mike? You think you can beat him in front of 500 screaming drunk Europeans? Take a shot. I'm not saying you have to like Mike as a player but you have to respect his play. By the way, these tables are tight as balls. USA ALL THE WAY YOU EUROPEAN BITCHESSSSSSSS!
man, i'm so sorry for mike, i know he was verry stress while in there, but hmm you say about respect, but you don't respect to european.. think again dude
I absolutely agree; he's an amazing player, but in the mosconi cup, like many American players who would otherwise play very well in any other event, they struggle in the mosconi cup. I feel like the coaching is to blame. The European players just seem much more relaxed and calm than the American players.
@@frontdesk6225 ofc he is better they dont take scrubs in mosconi this dude would destroy all of us in these comment dissin him playing one handed.. pool is game where nerves are important af easiest shot is so easy to miss when u tryna play position to next ball when u put lot of spin and tryna cheat pocket
@@frontdesk6225 true, my local pool halls best player ran 3 racks in a row against me(he said it was his record tho) in 10 ball and he not even pro so these guys are absolutely monsters and if i ever had to play against any of those two guys it would be same to throw towel in table
Ekonomopoulos is so drunk during his interview at the end.
Anybody else notice somebody from the crowd threw a chalk at the table around 8:35??
Ryan Shepherd 😂 wtf was that about I wonder?
@@jamesroboyle I thought it well from underneath the table...dunno why and how it would though, so :D
the awkward handshake at the end of the match is what i live for XD
Guy who lost was like "dude plz do it look like im in the mood i just sold cup"😂😂
Dennis Hatch; Despite the loss he is still smiling like he won.
😅😅😊😊

really? song 2?
Dechaine gave away 3 games and Vandenberg slopping the 9 ball in like a pinball was a fitting way to end this match

and that's why you're here commenting on youtube video's while they are playing for the country in mosconi cup.
I agree with you. The pockets are too friendly. You have to miss by alot for the ball to not go in
Go find some bar table and u see big pockets these are legit diamond tables not as tigh as those new rasson tables but still relative tight

What a choke !!! When the expectations and pressure was on he was a big failure disappointing for America to say the least
Even the pros shank balls once in a while
If mike wasn't on the team im sure u.s.a would of won.
not easy or unlucky both of them

What he did do deserve that nick name?

cool
That was some terrible form from Mike; this was nothing like Mike's typical form. The nerves may have gotten him, a huge stage.
thank you def not his normal form hes much better than that trust me i have played him quite a few times

Mike DeChoke
He's not a bad player obviously but a bad loser for sure. Definitely choked on a number of shots, chump.
hes a great player but a absolute horrible loser with a shitty attitude hes better on his own he doesnt do well with teammates
Usa lost but only Hatch Won
Dechaine and hatch sucks. They should be out of the US team. Both of these guys are weak
ive played against both of them you are fucking clueless dude
