OK. I got this Sobo and a DoPhin P 808 which has a 16 W pump. I tested both. Took all all strainers/pipes and tested as different pipe length can make a difference in water flow. The Dophin pump was pumping a lot more water than this 35W Sobo heavy hitter! I don't know why. I think the Dophin is designed a lot better than the heavy/high power consuming Sobo. I think Sobo is heavily advertised in India and simply sells more for whatever reason but unlike what some think it is a not that good of a brand.
Not sure how the price comparison is with sobo and dophin.. I did lot of review search and found sobo is the best choice what I had .. however, I agree with you..there might be more better then sobo 👍

That is available for Rs. 1500 online. So for what Sobo offers which is only the powerhead it seems value for money as the DoPhin is a full filter system. But really I was expecting at-least 2 times better performance from Sobo as it is a 35W pump whereas Dophin is only 16w! Dophin pump is smaller and lighter too. You did online research. I tested both models at home.

Top filter box comes with the Atman aquarium. However, there is another model of SOBO gives single filter box on top costing 200-300~ more .. please try next model 👍
My Aquarium is 4x2x2 3990 is perfect for the size and water.. please go with 3990.. the difference is , in 2990 the circulation water cycle is less compare to 3990 .. I mean.. your tank will get cleaned Very fast on 3990.

I have a 3 feet X 1ft X15 inch ht aquarium still i installed sobo wp3880F Top filter. Plus I have an internal sponge and internal powerhead sobo wp1000F filter which i converted to spraybar.
I am using a sobo 3880 for my top filter. 3990 has some additional accessories. Wish you showed the assembly of powerhead before attaching to filter. The loud crying music on the background was a bit irritating disturbance though.

If they have provided the air pipe notch on the outflow outlet which points to tank, what is this tube for? What does it do? Sorry, there is no other informative vid on youtube on this model, so bothering you. Also they seem to have modified this model since you purchased and the new ones costs a little more and dont have this tube. What am I missing if I buy new as a standby?
@@rathansherigar4527 L tube usually sucks water and gives strength to pull water from below tube. Just to observe, try to close it for a second.. the power head stops pulling the water..
Mate, ceramic rings aren't used for purifying the water. It's a place where nitrifying bacterica can reside where it converts ammonia to nitrates. Nice aquarium though :)
The filter comes with the Aquarium "Atmans" but you can build yours by buying Sobo WP3880F Top Filter www.amazon.in/dp/B00U01NEA2/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_wwovFbJ76ZAHZ. .. you can use this for any aquarium tank 😊👍
Sobo its not good .. I bought this same model but its suction power is very dull compared to my old xilong xl600.. I think there's only focus on air water flow and making fools of people for showing those powerful bubbles and claims to sucks 2400l/hour but its not true

You have adjustable extebder... So you shorten it however you want 👍
Nice video..the surface skimmer (spikes attachment)attachment given has to be submerged in water or it has to be above water level.
The whole unit has to be submerged inside the tank.. you get external filters also.. depends on your aquarium.
