I love playing high level ng+7. Being able to play as any build I want during a playthrough without using larval tears is nice. The RL481 grind is so worth it for that reason alone.
Wow! 481! I have a 403 build which I am slowly levelling up whilst playing around with other builds. They are so much fun to use. Great video Matt, really enjoyed it.

Oh' yes please matt, some really great builds there, when I finished the dlc I made a point of getting the Peoria so maybe using your build I'll be laughing, (hmm maybe) 😂😂 . I can't remember if I mentioned that I have a arcane and madness build with the vyke spear and the cursed sword and it's awesome but needing to put a bit more in to it, my level is a 272 with a dex of 72 arcane and faith are about 50 but needing to get that blood sucking tear. Have you gotten all the tears or 🤔 I have found that you can use your mimic on some of the fire golems but not on others so would be grateful if you got any ideas on taking these mother's out 👍 😬 I think on the 2 play through I seem to be getting through by the skin of my teeth even with my 400+ dragon hunter build its insane 🤣🤣 so looking forward to seeing the second half of this series so a big mahusive thanks to you for bringing these awesome build videos and hard work. Ps how would you rate the new staffs as I like using the staff of the finger boss ? Thanks Matt 👍💯 I also play gears of war, brilliant🤪
Thanks! 🙏 so the new staves have high scaling, so they’re pretty good. Close to prince of deaths & better when boosting their own spells. As for the furnace golems, pest thread spears on horseback. A few jumps & charged hits you’ll stun them a lot and can back off safely when needed.
I don’t know if anybody has noticed this but when most creators use aged ones exultation in a build, they don’t use howl of shabriri correctly. You need to cast it twice or more in order to proc madness, just having a madness bar up doesn’t actually give you the buff from the talisman. I didn’t even realize this until last week when I accidentally procced madness on myself and the talisman icon popped up in my buff and debuff bar. Just a little tidbit.

Hey Matt, I wanted to ask, if you have a build optimised for a one shot, and you use two giant crushers with the jumping L1, is that technically a “one shot” considering the animation is technically hitting twice? Or is it more to do with pressing the button once? Hope alls well!
@@thevikingofhardcheese4080 so for me I like to think it counts, but it’s a complicated question. 1 because you have to jump first so you’re using 2 inputs & also cause you’re hitting with 2 weapons. Generally it’s 1 damage input = 1 shot. So for me it would count. 🤘

I use the Gargoyle Twinblades (and the Godskin Peelers) with pretty much the same build -- except I use Ritual Sword Talisman instead of Milicent's Prosthesis -- and they just run over everything. 143 bleed on a maxed out character, they just do silly damage.

The grind is real, maybe 30 hours with golden scarab and gold pickled fowl foot on NG+7 if you’re using wave of gold. I recommend to take breaks so you don’t go insane lol. If you never plan on deleting your character, id say it pretty worth the grind.

Question why did you have 80 int for the fire bandit curved sword build?
@ my character is level 480. 80 in all damage stats so I don’t have to respec for the high level build content.

I am max level. It is an absolute blast being any build. I want.
That’s really the only benefit of being high level on NG+7. Getting two shot by enemies unless you’re wearing max tank armor gets tiring.
I get bored very easily with builds, so high levels and lots of options is awesome. Great video!

Just a little tidbit.
Howl is a buff by itself. The 25% increase happens immediately. It’s a body buff. Madness only helps with the talisman or helm.
Thats such a very high level, i cannot imagine myself grinding for that cuz im very lazy at farming runes.

Would you recommend Bandit over scavenger curved blades? Or perhaps use one of each?
Totally depends on level. Bandits are better at higher levels or if you can’t get 2 Scavs yet. Scavengers are better up to RL 150 on occult.
Did you get to a high level from farming Mohgwyn palace or from beating NG+7 bosses? Curious what’s faster

I keep seeing conflicting discussions on Bandi Curved Sword vs Scavenger's Curved Swords. Which is actually better for high level?

Awesome! Yeah those & bandits are insane. You can run bloodsucking cracked tear for 10% more than having ritual. If you’re feeling dangerous lol

@OtterTheNational they’re pretty close. Wing is better for bigger bosses, darkmoon is good in general. Esp FP wise since it lasts a minute.

which one is your favorite?
My favorite build is faith. Mixing in fire, lightning & holy incantations with the Euporia as my main weapon.

My Bandits blood curved sword dont have Passive effects blood loss
Blood affinity with seppuku. You need the black whetblade & seppuku ash of war.
Kind of disappointed with Nightreign. Not into Rogue Like games and online play really. Miyazaki not involved in this project is strange.
I think it’ll be fun for co op/playing with friends. It’ll still be somewhat souls-ish. And it’s more ER.
