That apartment/rooming home owner should be held responsible as well. They hired a convicted felon with a background that includes sexual assault and battery.

GOD IS REAL! God Bless Her, her friend, and the rest of the victims that he hurt and killed. You Really don't Know your strength until you're in a situation like this. You go into complete survival mode, and fight with all your might. I know exactly how she feels. I was in a situation that was a little different, but it too was a completely horrific traumatic experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone including the devil. When she said "I'm Bouta die, and nobody's going to hear me screaming." I felt that deeply down to my core/my soul because I thought the very same thing! I know what she's saying about not knowing what's real and what's not real. I was set up by a "mutual" friend I was reported missing, drugged, beat,*aped, and left for dead. I was horrified. It's like one of those stories on "I survived," but it's my story. Later, I found out that I was the 3rd woman they had found in that same area, and it happened again to another woman after me. I was so scared to speak about my situation for a long time out of fear that he'd come back and kill me. He's still out walking the streets to this day, and has never been held accountable for his habitual horrific actions! I was taken to jail (for as mental evaluation,) instead of the hospital. They released me after I collapsed due to my body shutting down. The police questioned me, and they knew exactly who he was and where he lived, but they never arrested him. Sweet Lady, you have purpose! It wasn't your time to go, and thanks for telling your story. It gives me hope and strength to be able to tell my story! Again, GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU @TrappinAnonymous for your platform and giving these beautiful people and their stories a VOICE! GOD IS REAL AND AGAIN, GOD BLESS YOU🙏

Ouuiii lord , my nerves was bad watching this , April god bless your soul moma , I’m 29 I was raped when I was 12 at gunpoint and listening to this brought so many triggering moments back to me cause my rapist was released 10 years later when I was 22 and he found me and began to harass me letting me know I would pay for sending him to prison so yes the system definitely knows how to fail us and I’m from Louisiana born & raised … he’s now back in jail for raping and killing a girl after being out of jail for 7 months he cause me to start doing xans which became and addiction and doing Roxy 30s I’ve been clean for a year now , just had a birthday December 28th , this was my first birthday that I could really enjoy and be grateful for life without being super high , or in the hospital for ODing or being in rehab 😢, lord I cried watching this … god bless her and may she continue to fight to be survivor she is ❤ sending much love 💕

I think I can speak for most women when I say, this is our absolute worst fear coming to fruition. I was 22 when I got my own apartment, first time living ALONE alone. I lived downtown and Im not gonna lie, I was scared as hell at night the first few months I was there. Always making sure doors were locked behind me, checking my backseat before getting in my car, etc. After awhile I adjusted and felt more secure and safe, but still always had that lingering feeling I was vulnerable. Listening to what she went through; I cannot imagine the utter terror and fear she must have experienced. A real life nightmare.
But a miracle happened and she survived❤ Im so glad she is here today, brave enough to tell us her story

She said exactly right it is classism something happens to a black person in our city is carried out as everything else all crimes are considered common but when a Caucasian person is killed or hurt or rob it is treated as something that is high alert and everyone should be cautious of I remember hearing the story about the Caucasian woman, but I never heard anything about this woman story and I’m so upset. This is the exact reason why I never feel safe in my city I need to leave.

So many people were outraged to find out that what happened to you was just glossed over. You are not alive by chance. Praying for your mental and physical healing and I’m glad you get to be here for your daughter

You are such an amazingly strong woman. I'm so sorry that you were victimized multiple times. First by the man that tried to kill you, then by the bystanders who chose to sit and gawk at you rather than try to help and yet again by the police. That is unacceptable. I pray that your story May help others and serve as a reminder to those who failed you. May your life be truly blessed.♥️🙏🙏

It’s so unfortunate how this system consistently fails. Whether it be sexual assault, domestic violence, trafficking, or child abuse it seems like they’re constantly dropping the ball.
Not to mention how the media often regards these cases as it relates to black women and other women of color. Especially in our communities there’s always a lack of media attention concerning our stories.
It’s hard to conceptualize how one could be so evil. It’s even harder to comprehend her strength. She was able to fight for her and her friends lives. Now she stands in her power to put him away hopefully forever. To seal his faith.
May she heal from this and may she find a peace of mind. ❤️
