Subscribed and locked in! Great job with your tours and offering to help people. Who gives their number out online nowadays lol. Im from Long Island NY and plan to move to the southern suburban Houston area (friendswood, league city etc). I don't plan on moving until July 2025 but I feel like I need to start looking and have a plan set by July 2024. My first question.. will new construction homes carry a heavier tax burden than an older home, but renovated by adding a second floor, remodeling etc? I will be contacting you next year btw. Just too soon to harass you with a million questions. God bless and thanks for your help!
Thanks for checking out the channel. Yes taxes will almost always be higher on new construction on the suburbs. I don’t understand the last part of your question. You’re looking at buying older and adding a floor? Or adding a floor to new?
@@aaronlathan sorry adding a floor to older smaller home. Pretty much renovating an older house to give it a “new”, feeling. 1600sqf to 3000sqf for example. Can you save some money that way or the county will still tax heavily? Thanks
You’d be taxed on the improved value of the home. So if you go from an entry level home to now one of the biggest in that subdivision you’ll be taxed accordingly. In addition to needing to get that sort of project approved with your HOA etc
Good morning, I am looking at Meridiana and trying to decide between Toll Brothers and Highland Homes in the 50' gated section. Which one is your #1 pick?
Good morning. We bought a highland. Come be my neighbor 🤗. Do you plan on building or buying inventory? Although we loved the Toll Brothers model all of their inventory at the time of our purchase were 3 bedrooms. Highland also is in the new 50’ gated section with Westin so you’d have more opportunities with Highland. Here’s a link to my calendar so we can chat more in depth: aaronlathan.prgtexas.net/buyer-consultation
@@lisaperez6114 awesome. Then yea the sky is the limit with either builder. My clients have had great experiences with both. It would come down to availability and getting the layout you want for the price. Both have good incentives. Based on my last visit to Toll Brothers it didn’t seem like they got lots in the new sections yet. Westin seems to be taking their place. If none of those times work let me know and we can schedule a one off meeting also.
I am hiring the Toll Brothers when my coins come in this week to build my farmhouse .
❤ their work. 💚
They’re one of my faves! Let me know if I can help 👍🏽 aaronlathan.prgtexas.net/buyer-consultation

What is the name of the brick?
Shoot me an email. I’ll ask my sales contact on site for the elevation details.
How much?
The base price is $475K in Sienna. Interested in that location?
Nice but looks bigger than 2500 feet.
A great layout can do amazing things 😊
where's the laundry room?
Across from the kitchen. In between the bedrooms.
