it is ok to be honest but I often find the leash being tangled around the toes whilst standing up. Slightly annoying... another risk we identified is the length which is way to short to really appart yourself from the board whilst crashing... You don`t crash so this might just count for beginner/adv riders... we exchanged the coil leash against a longer one which is good now...
The dyneema is better between your toes than the urathane, trust me! Length of the leash really depends on the positioning of your leash plug and the length of your board. Longer board and you'll need a longer leash. Shorter board and you'll want a shorter leash.
the dyneema cord could probably pick up a car, the coil is to prevent the dyneema from pulling out your leash plug as it doesn't stretch, where the urethane keeps stretching before it eventually snaps great product, another benefit is the dyneema is the only part to rub against your mast, and it won't weaken from carbon making nicks like the urethane coil does
I've seen a dyneema wing leash without a urethan coil pull out a leash plug, so maybe not the reason they included it, but that was the reason I bought one!
Yes, definitely designed for the safety of the rider and to protect the gear. There were a number of prototypes made and many different riders providing feedback. We felt this was a great combo, especially for safety. We are stoked at the overall positive response to INVIZ. Thank you. Please feel free to share any feedback with the Kāohi team. We appreciate our customers and can always get better. Thank you James as well.
Thanks for the Review

random google I found 4 mm dyneema shock cord to have Mean Breaking load of 240 kg so maybe a big motorbike but not quite a car! :D
