Caramel Apple Pie, The Best Pie Ever

  • Caramel Apple Pie
    Day 1
    10 Apples (I prefer Macintosh)
    1 Cup Brown Sugar
    Juice of 1 Large Lemon
    1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
    2 Tsp Cinnamon(I prefer Ceylon Cinnamon)
    1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
    Optional: 1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves (use during winter/Holidays)
    Day 2
    Strain drippings from the apples and mix with
    1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk pressure cooked for 35 minutes or slow cooked for 6-8 hours
    Crumble Topping:
    1 Cup All Purpose Flour
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 Cup Brown Sugar
    1 Cup Rolled Oats
    12 Tbs Cold Unsalted Butter
    1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon (I prefer Ceylon Cinnamon)
    1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
    Optional: 1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves in the winter seasons
    Optional: Grind Gingersnap cookies and add 1 cup to the crumble topping
    Bake 400 Degrees for 50 to 60 minutes until oat topping is completely saturated with moisture and caramel, uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes. Let cool and serve
