Jongho IS the best 4th gen vocalist. I will die on that hill. Boi's voice is pure dopamine and serotonin. This is a pure ATEEZ track and the album is cohesive. They know what works for them but still keep it enticing. My bg song of 2022.

I love rock vocal and style Ateez. I have since earlier songs but especially Black Cat Nero. This album and era are perfect for them. Jongho in my opinion just shines with a rock style vocal. Sometimes I get an “If Freddie Mercury and Stephen Perry had a live child” vibe from him when he is singing. Yunho to me also really shines vocally with this music style.
i literally relate to this lol. I'm not saying they're the first to do this in kpop obviously but it was amazing to see them bring rock and scream elements to the mainstream kpop space and i hope they would continue with this direction in terms of their music
agreed, i'm a rock/metal fan and i was very impressed with this album! i don't stan ateez, just listen to a few songs here and there but i listened to this album start to finish and loved it!!
as someone who is your average rock/metal music enjoyer, i was really positively surprised by this ep. although i'm not a ateez fan but have listened to quite a few song, this was a really good ep
@@katya6959 I’m not super caught up in the idea that an album needs to be conceptual and follow a progression from start to finish but I do think this album meets that desire for people who do care. There is definitely a nice flow from song to song which makes me think of so many rock albums in the 70’s and 80’s.
The visuals of the CB is actually very intelligent. I love it for the fact its unglamourous and unpretty and very true to the grunge propaganda atmosphere. ultimately still formulaic, but everything was styled so appropriately it looked fresh. bansky graffiti street art style, a muted dance stage, the grand ode to Metropolis background, the iconic white ode to the depictions of the french revolution, the negative space on their wide shots and the basement studio feel. the entire mv didnt even try to be something it wasnt. It was a very real look to what they are, a small rebellion making big waves. inconic and unpretty. The most beautiful MV in their discography since Wonderland.
The entire album can easily not be someone's cup of tea tbh. anyone who had their emo era and moved on from it, this album is an ode to that time hahaha a nostalgia trip we didnt expect. im still so confused how this is kpop tbh. each song has that underlaying nu music/alt rock theme yet each one has a way of shining out. i honestly thought nothing could beat Treasure epilogue for me (best album imo) by all means Movement kicked it out of that top spot by the 2nd track. Basically ateez successfully made a new 4th gen kpop sound - its still noise music in the end... but its so refined and solid.
100% this felt like such a love letter to my younger self to all the rock music I listened to. Ateez being my ult + this album, they just have my whole heart.
Thank you for this explanation friend! As a metalhead k-pop lover, I still listen to more metal and rock than kpop , even though I have more k-pop posters than metal posters .... And this brought me right back to the metal I blast everyday..... I loved it !!!! I have guerilla on repeat and if ateez ever did a metal sounding album, I would pass out. Hongjoong did amazing on the harsh vocals..... He should release a metal or rock style song . Thanks for the honesty..... This is my new favorite album from them aot 🥰🥰 ~fellow atiny metalhead 🤟
@@alexxpanda6412 Jongho also does the rock vocal well. Some of their songs he reminds me of Freddie Mercury, Stephen Perry, and Steven Tyler all rolled into one. I’m going to assume the scream parts were done in studio and won’t be done live because doing them correctly is important for vocal health and the dances just go so hard. I expect them to be on the backtrack. But the vocals and harmonies are just so good across the whole album.
Nu metal and emo music were the soundtracks of my adolescence, so Guerrilla is so up my alley. The Linkin Park influences were so apparent from the get-go. I also thought I heard a little bit of Breaking Benjamin in there. Jongho's wailing vocals in the chorus felt like an almost spiritual experience. I cannot praise that man enough. I think that there is no genre out there that Jongho would not slay, and that is immensely impressive for a guy who is only 21!!!! He's already so seasoned as a vocalist and is only getting better. Imagine what it'll be like when he's 30! No question, this album will be one of my favorites of the year. I cannot get enough of it, especially with b-sides like Cyberpunk and New World. ATEEZ is absolutely killing with this comeback.
Tbh jongho probably is the best vocalist in gen 4, stable voice even while dancing, very clear voice, powerful vocals even when he sings in the background, amazing range/high notes, just to add the he can maintain the high notes too and perfect voice for both boy and girl groups. Mama 2019 when he sang miss A goodbye baby, was just amazing. Jongho is probably top 5 vocalist
I grew up with rock and metal so I absolutely loved guerrilla, I knew it was going to be amazing from the teaser! The whole album is great, I love all the songs but I think the ring is my favorite so far (if we don’t include guerrilla) there’s just something about it, its dark and epic. It’s kind of funny that all of Ateez suits rock music so well, Jongho, San and Seonghwa especially in my opinion. God, in the section where San is sliding on the floor, his voice right there, absolutely stunning. Personally I think it’s the best K-pop album of the year so far.
I'm not deep into ATEEZ but I caught them on Music Bank last night and I was absolutely blown away. The stage was not heavy on choreo but very focused on their concept and vocals, which I've noticed they have made a decided emphasis to do so (last comeback as well), which is very smart. They can obviously dance, there is no question, but let's show that they are artists. The well-roundedness of ATEEZ through their discography/concepts backed up by their talent makes them heavyweights. I think because I'm watching the new season of Westworld, I'm connecting ATEEZ's sound/concept with the Westworld storyline and I'm loving it, more please.
Stan ATEEZ, it's the best comeback so far this year for me. Guerrilla is fantastic and the switch ups just make it unpredictable. The album is honestly mindblowningly good, i was not expecting the emotions it will make me feel, its feels revolutionary, makes you nostalgic. I think the concept and the songs in the album fits so well, it gives me chills. Overall, i'm more than happy with the final product, this new Era is just starting we have more coming and its just the beginning, We haven't Seen anything yet. Stan ATEEZ Lets break the walls
Their best comeback ever, in my opinion, and I used to be obsessed with Answer but this is exactly the style of music I love. They have matured so much as artists and I kind of feel like i have grown up with them in a way.
I was honestly scared of how this will sound cause the teasers made me a bit skeptical but I knew that when the full song comes out it'll make sense, and boy did it make lots of sense! I loved it! Tbh, this comeback was really great, yet I still like other title tracks more, maybe cause this is new, but title tracks like Answer and Say my Name are still my top. (and the queen herself, fireworks)
This is my first time listening to an ateez song and I really enjoyed the album, especially Guerrilla, Cyberpunk and The Ring. I probably won’t stan since personally it takes a lot of my time and energy but I’ll definitely start listening to their older songs! That being said, recommendations are definitely appreciated hehe
When I heard the screaming in the teasers I knew it was going to be metal. Is it as good as Starset, hmm... it is very very close. I could see Starset doing this concept. Probably why I love this album more! I want more metal in kpop... please please please!!!
This MV reminds me of one of their Kingdom stages when they covered IKON’s Rhythm Ta (The Awakening of Summer), especially when Hongjoon was making his speech in the performance. The symbols and flying machine (IDK WHAT ITS CALLED) The symbol on the flying thing were the same in the guerrilla mv. Idk i think they were hinting at this comeback since Kingdom. There were also many other scenes that were similar to their Kingdom stage like the back of the truck, the papers falling from the flying thing etc
Another awesome video! And I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. I’ll admit that the chorus of Guerrilla took me a little getting used to because personally I’ve never really been a fan of chant choruses, but the more I listen to it the more I love it tbh. The second half once it switches to full on rock is my absolute favorite and you said it, Jongho’s the best and people can keep arguing with the wall lol this album has catapulted its way to my absolute favorite Ateez album of all time and New World has dethroned Say My Name as my absolute favorite Ateez song, which I never thought would happen because SMN has been #1 for the last almost 3 years lol I started following them October 2019 about 2 weeks or so after Wonderland came out, and it’s been a wild ride ever since and I just echo your sentiments about being so proud of them wholeheartedly. They slayed it and I can’t wait to see which of these they’ll do on tour. :3 which btw, are you gonna go see them? 👀 because I for sure am gonna try. I’ve been waiting to see them for SO LONG (I got tickets December 2019 when they first went on sale but ended up not being able to go to the rescheduled date) and I’m hoping I FINALLY get to see them. 🤞🤞🤞
I really agree when you said that it was such a cohesive album. I also grew up listening to Linkin Park and Muse. Particularly Muse also explores themes of rebellion and resisting a corrupt government. So i loveeeeeee. It's mind blowing how a kpop group and their company dares to enter such a non-mainstream sound/ concept because it's so strong and progressive.
This entire release is amazing!! I absolutely adore the the heavy metal elements and I love how they portrayed the theme as well without being disrespectful
no because it’s the way that ateez just doesn’t make bad music, like every album since debut, every title track, every b-side they’ve ever made is just so good, they have a complete no skip discography and it’s one of the reasons ateez is one of my ult bgs beside stray kids
It is so interesting to see how sounds from the 90s & 2000s R&B and rap groups influences so many bands in KPop. It also seems that other popular sounds from that time, like all of the metal variations, are also having an influence. Its nice to see how this new generation experiment with those genres and make them their own, while taking me back on memory lane to my generation's cool beats. 😊👍🏾💃🏾🎶🎤🎧
As a huge Muse fan, the highlight medley gave me major Drones vibes and having listened to the ep in full, I still stand by it. And I’m so happy because Drones is one of my favourite muse albums. The ep was wonderful, it felt like it told a cohesive (albeit short) story and I haven’t even looked at any of the lyrics yet! Musically, this is their strongest album yet, together with the Wave/Illusion album. I do love me an Ateez ballad, but Fever part 3 and Epilouge were too full of them 😭 If I could change one thing, I’d take away the extremely heavy autotune, especially in The Ring. Purely personal preference. They all have wonderful voices that, like you said, works so well with rock sound like this, so why butcher them like that 😭 In closing words, I had to clutch my headphones several times so they wouldn’t fall off while listening to the album. It was a full 22 minutes and 23 seconds dance workout. I apologise to my downstairs neighbours.
It was pretty good. This was my first Ateez comeback as a new Atiny! I always loved their music since 2019, recently though I decided I would officially stan them. I liked Guerilla, in particular Hoonjoong's and Mingi's verses. I feel that they really carried this song. In general, I have always loved Mingi's voice but this by far is my favorite rap from him. As for the EP, I can't really choose my favourite because all the songs were seriously non skippable. However, if I had to choose one it would probably be Sector 1 or Cyberpunk.
As an insomnia (dreamcatcher) who recently started to stan ateez, this cb was very satisfactory! This is probably their best cb to date at least imo, it was pretty solid
This is an amazing analysis bc it brings their concept - lore and music wise - the nu metal is something different and not every K-pop group would do it well but ATEEZ obviously slayed! I understand it’s not everyone cup of tea but for the ones who dig it it’s SOTY material
finished watching the mv right before watching your video and the things i noticed right away were: * slayteez paying homage to new/alt-metal bands and seeing these bands in them, specially linkin park and korn * slayteez really said fuxk the government(s) and the sheep conformity * slayteez taking reference from the french revolution painting when raising their flag best slayteez comback yet...BRING ON THE ANARCHY...
I love how you explain everything omg. Whenever Ateez have a comeback, I'll be the first one to check out your commentary. This is by far their best era yet. Guerrilla may not be my fave title but it's definitely a banger, mindblowing and a game changer. While everyonenis doing emo/punk rock inspired music, Ateez goes metal and break the standard yet again. I'm so proud. And I love how consistent they are in the lore too, like we are indeed living in Ateez world lmao. The album is a journey itself, it has this specific ambience that I think Edenary and Ateez were aiming for, and they pulled off amazingly. it's really cohesive wtf. I think this deserves Album of the Year award. Every song was really good. Propaganda and Sector 1 feels like the start of the revolution where they are executing the plan, Guerrilla is where all the chaos and fight happens, Cyberpunk is where they face conflict within, The Ring is where they show their last and final weapon that caught the Strictland government off guard. WDIG is where they starts to run away from them after executing the plan to overthrow the govt. And New World is the perfect song for their triumph. It's like just the title itself, it's like discovering a new world. Idk if whatever I'm saying make sense, but this is how I perceive the album. As for the rating: Propaganda - 11/10 (This has so much potential to be a full length song, it's too good to be an intro 😭) Sector 1 - 8/10 (I'm still stunned after knowing this song has been finished 2 yrs ago. The intro being the outro of the Answer Mv. Love the contrast between the verses and the chorus. it's like pulling you first and pushing you full force and pulling you again.) Guerrilla - 9/10 (The song lives up to its name. It gives you this restless feeling and make you want to punch someone in the face lol.) Cyberpunk - 100/10. (Take Me Home's Hala version lmao. Love it so much. One of my top fave bside instantly the first time i heard it. Love the chorus the most. Synthwave is one of ATEEZ's genre. I said what i said.) The Ring - 10/10. Nasty. Slow and dirty ass beat. Breaks all my expectations. I don't know else what to say. I'm not really a fan of autotune in music but the autotune here didn't bother me. They have used it so well. it's not too hype and not too chill too. it's in the middle.) WDIG (Where Do I Go) - 9/10. Love the verses so much. Jongho popped off with his vocals. The chorus and the bridge made ascend on the outer space lol. New World - 1000/10. My fave bside. Listening to it isn't enough. I need it inside me. It's like we are really going to a new world. Still stunned until now. That's it. Overall rating: 9.8/10. Best ATEEZ era yet. From the production of mv, music and the progression of their lore. ALBUM OF THE YEAR MATERIAL.
5:35 of course he is no shade but who else is there? The 4th gen have good vocalists but Like jongho is an exceptionally good vocalist, he's a stand out amongst 4th gen
I really love their comeback! Tbh I was feeling very confident about this release, as soon as I listened to the sampler. The whole album is just really interesting. I love their style on it throughout and I am sooo happy they began to experiment with new vibes again, mixing pessimistic nu-metal-esque influences together with rough and dirty synth-techno sounds... Ahhh great! We love some angsty futuristic stuff, after all.
Jongho's voice is the best in 4th gen to me, because it can adapt to different genres by him using different techniques. It's one thing to just know how to sing high notes or have a stable voice but having a unique af technique when singing is amazing. His voice has this amazing vibrato that pulls you in. He was doing that hard af choreo and still sounded amazing and metal-esque. So many kpop songs infused with rock elements have come out this year, but jongho's voice suits that genre the best to me. His voice has the flexibility to adapt to the genre. His voice can sound emotional, when he wants to, sound popish, sound metal. He know how to control his voice, so it won't sound out of place in a song. Like tell me which other other 4th gen male idol that can compare. Tldr: Jongho best boy✨
I only know a few title tracks from Ateez but damn !! that comeback is so… i can’t even express it with words. It’s so unique ! I don’t think i’ve seen this kind of genre (nu metal) done in kpop before ! Ateez are definitely innovative and aren’t afraid of trying new things for sure. This may not be my favourite genre of music but they definitely piqued my curiosity 👀 Can’t wait to check out the whole EP!
I'm sure it was spoiled and inspired by the song Guerrilla Radio that Hongjoong put on his baverse playlist last year! Also, the shot of them with the flags in slow motion someone pointed out it's inspired by the song Iron by Woodkid you have to see that video and meaning! And probably Run Boy Run and others of the band as well since they are linked, and all is similar to Ateez MVs👀
I felt the transition to the pre-chorus in the 2nd first and the transition to the bridge were a bit abrupt, but the vocals in it are incredible. It's common for good reason to point out the Choi bros vocals, but Yunho also just killed it and Seonghwa's chorus parts felt like a foundation for the rest of the song. The MV is pure art.
THEY FR DID NOT DISAPPOINT also jongho’s vocals??? absolutely perfect it’s so good and then the opening verse with the rap?? it was so good LITERALLY EVERYONE SOUNDED SO GOOD i love noisy music and the concept they’re going for with nu metal fits them so well and it’s literal perfection
both Ateez and Anarchy starts with an A and I do not think that is a coincidence anymore. This song is such a "stand up to the government, overthrow the government and live your life" mood and I'm here for it
my first thought when I was 10 seconds into my first listen of Guerilla was What in the Linkin Park (in a good way) and it makes me so happy to hear another person who grew up with grunge and similar alternative music feeling the same! It's not for everyone and it took a second listen for me to really appreciate the sound too but now I love it and I hope they do more of it
Ateez knocked this song and the whole album out of the damn park! One smash hit bop after another. Love the hell out the whole album and it will stay on repeat for an obscene amount of time for me. They have really leveled up and are doing something fresh and new. In an oversaturated industry where groups follow trends, Ateez are fearless trailblazers who are unafraid to experiment with sound and genres. Their music production team is outstanding and one of the best in all of kpop. This release is the Song and Album of the Year for me. Bravo Ateez!
agreed on everything, since inception till cyberpunk, they came for everybodys necks!! the mv was just cinematic, im living for hwa's long skirt tbh, choreo amazing, song is fire. the ep is truly no skips and surprinsingly one of my favorites is the opening, propaganda, lol ateez are amazing i looove em
The whole EP is the shit. Yeah I picked up on the grudginess of the tracks. I didnt know it was considered nu metal, but definitely got some metal and grudge as well as hip hop. Linkin Park is one of my favorites RIP Chester.
i am just sad ateez dont have enough recognition by now. this album is so great in the way its structured and the way its executed. they are really talented.
even though i like ateez softs songs but i wanna say, they did it, this is exactly what ateez wanted they wanted people to talk! if they went on singing typical kpopie type songs it would be be harder for them to get noticed, ateez definately knew they need to do something out of the box to get attention. even if people might not like the song it definately made people talk, like ateez?? what the hell. even though i didnt not liked the song at furst the more i hear the more fun it gets. hardly any kpop group canslay as hard as ateez, come and argue with me., u r welcome.
Everyone is gonna have their favorite Ateez album/comeback/title track; however, I can totally see The World EP 1: Movement as their most influential album.
ateez really outdid theirselves this cb and i think this is in my top 3 tts with fireworks and illusion. like it feels so unique and i love that everyone is able to shine and show their strong points, ESP joong seonghwa and jongho. and not to mention. THIS IS IN THE TOP 3 MINGI VERSES OF ALL TIME. so im very very pleased.
Ateez dis an amazing job with this concept, they tried something new and nailed it! You can dislike the concept but you have to admit that the song is good 😉
i've actually never been a fan of ateez (i dont mean that in a bad way, just never got into them, didn't fit my taste), only liked "answer", but after i heard guerilla and this album, this has now become one of my top favorite albums this year its perfect and i cant get enough of guerilla. i think maybe that is my favorite song, the nu metal elements are perfect and i've been wanting to hear this kind of sound from a boy group for years, so far only super junior's "dont don" has satisfied my taste and need for sounds like this, so thank you ateez for finally doing nu metal and making me happy. the only think i wish was different was that jongho's high note at the end was longer, think back to exo's wolf high note at the end, that kind of longer and more intense, and i know he's capable of doing it, maybe next time lol
I actually didn't know why it was called guerrilla thats so cool. My Album review: As a whole album its very cohesive & nice. With all the mini albums we got from this tear this one stans out. For guerrilla I thought it was ok not really my fav ateez tt. Jonghos part in the corus is wonderful & what makes the song. And hwas, sans, & yunhos voices stood out to me during the whole song. 6/10 Know the Bsides OMG. Probably some of my fav ateez bsides & some if my fav out of the whole year. WDIG is amazing like idk what else to call it its just amazing Cyberpunk is literally perfect its awesome And sector 1 is also perfect loved it Overall I give the album a 8/10 I liked it it was fun which is what ateez music is to me Fun😊
Although this album is not exactly my taste, i still think this album put their concept building and discography to the next level. Guerrilla is a bit too intense for me, maybe cause i don't really like the new metal elements (not a metal rock fan), but this definitely showcases their strength in performing. The MV is beautiful, MV of the year. All of the tracks connect to eachother in a way that felt like the whole album is telling a sci-fi dystopian story. Very solid concept. Cyberpunk and Sector 1 (i see you Answer) are my favs, not too intense, yet epic enough for me
ATEEZ, STRAY KIDS, ASTRO, ONEUS, SHINee, TOO, TXT, BTS, ITZY and MAMAMOO >>>> every other group. Don't come at me. ATEEZ have done it with their MVs. Not a single one since Treasure has disappointed me. In fact, every one of their comebacks has raised my standards with their phenomenal concepts, voices and choreographies. ATEEZ are kings
I grew up on Linkin Park and Slipknot but it's just for me, it felt like ateez want to make a statement and the song isn't that it didn't match...it's too flat for Nu Metal and feels forced

It’s definitely outside the K-pop box but somehow fits Ateez. I love this direction musically.
I Wonder why people call it noise music, because something is intense doesn't equal it to noise.
Anyways Stan ATEEZ
ATEEZ is absolutely killing with this comeback.
the best boy group released this year no shade
Nah I agree, they deserve it
yeah the album also ate
@@misssunnybae1074 well you can't spell Ateez without the Ate😉
@@passion.young.feverwithtre6987 ate(eez) slayed the whole comeback
Tbh jongho probably is the best vocalist in gen 4, stable voice even while dancing, very clear voice, powerful vocals even when he sings in the background, amazing range/high notes, just to add the he can maintain the high notes too and perfect voice for both boy and girl groups. Mama 2019 when he sang miss A goodbye baby, was just amazing. Jongho is probably top 5 vocalist
YES FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT!!!! JONGHO IS THE BEST VOCALIST OF 4TH GEN!!!!
I honestly love it like the whole entire concept and everyting about it is so perfect like ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh they never disapoint
I literally grew up with all of the groups you listed!
My dad is a big Metal /Rock fan as well as a big rap fan
It's a very crazy thing
Stan ATEEZ, it's the best comeback so far this year for me.
Guerrilla is fantastic and the switch ups just make it unpredictable.
The album is honestly mindblowningly good, i was not expecting the emotions it will make me feel, its feels revolutionary, makes you nostalgic. I think the concept and the songs in the album fits so well, it gives me chills.
Overall, i'm more than happy with the final product, this new Era is just starting we have more coming and its just the beginning, We haven't Seen anything yet.
Stan ATEEZ
Lets break the walls
GO SLAYTEEZ
I was looking for a reason to stan a new group and Ateez caught my eye, this EP is the best excuse to stan them.
I suggest Say My Name because it introduced the characters and HalaHala which go along with the theme.
Thanks for checking them out! I'm so glad as an atiny
I do love me an Ateez ballad, but Fever part 3 and Epilouge were too full of them 😭
If I could change one thing, I’d take away the extremely heavy autotune, especially in The Ring. Purely personal preference. They all have wonderful voices that, like you said, works so well with rock sound like this, so why butcher them like that 😭
In closing words, I had to clutch my headphones several times so they wouldn’t fall off while listening to the album. It was a full 22 minutes and 23 seconds dance workout. I apologise to my downstairs neighbours.
I WAS SHOOK. the dance practice was so GOOD. And their fine as ever too
It was pretty good.
I really love your intro remix. Whenever I hear it it just feels good. Wish it was a full song
I don’t usually like the this type of music but I really liked Guerilla
Guerilla sounds amazing oh my god it's my favorite era of Ateez. They slayed with the nu-metal sound 😍💅🏼
This is an amazing analysis bc it brings their concept - lore and music wise - the nu metal is something different and not every K-pop group would do it well but ATEEZ obviously slayed! I understand it’s not everyone cup of tea but for the ones who dig it it’s SOTY material
finished watching the mv right before watching your video and the things i noticed right away were:
* slayteez paying homage to new/alt-metal bands and seeing these bands in them, specially linkin park and korn
* slayteez really said fuxk the government(s) and the sheep conformity
* slayteez taking reference from the french revolution painting when raising their flag
best slayteez comback yet...BRING ON THE ANARCHY...
I couldn't place where I'd seen that image of raising the flag--thank you!!!
As for the rating:
Propaganda - 11/10 (This has so much potential to be a full length song, it's too good to be an intro 😭)
Sector 1 - 8/10 (I'm still stunned after knowing this song has been finished 2 yrs ago. The intro being the outro of the Answer Mv. Love the contrast between the verses and the chorus. it's like pulling you first and pushing you full force and pulling you again.)
Guerrilla - 9/10 (The song lives up to its name. It gives you this restless feeling and make you want to punch someone in the face lol.)
Cyberpunk - 100/10. (Take Me Home's Hala version lmao. Love it so much. One of my top fave bside instantly the first time i heard it. Love the chorus the most. Synthwave is one of ATEEZ's genre. I said what i said.)
The Ring - 10/10. Nasty. Slow and dirty ass beat. Breaks all my expectations. I don't know else what to say. I'm not really a fan of autotune in music but the autotune here didn't bother me. They have used it so well. it's not too hype and not too chill too. it's in the middle.)
WDIG (Where Do I Go) - 9/10.
ALBUM OF THE YEAR MATERIAL.
this is my new favorite ateez title track and album. they blew me away with this one 😭
5:35 of course he is no shade but who else is there?
The 4th gen have good vocalists but Like jongho is an exceptionally good vocalist, he's a stand out amongst 4th gen
Honestly my top 3 favorite comebacks of the year. Cyberpunk and Guerilla will be on loop!
Omg I love Cyberpunk too, it's really good
this comeback is amazing no skips these boys slayed !! love ateez so so much !!!
I agree! I'm so happy they just got their first win too! 👏🏾
YOU SPILLED
Ateez never disappoints! 💖
The Anarchy goes back to Say My Name with Mingi's pants which are my favorite outfit for him.
THEY FR DID NOT DISAPPOINT also jongho’s vocals??? absolutely perfect it’s so good and then the opening verse with the rap?? it was so good LITERALLY EVERYONE SOUNDED SO GOOD i love noisy music and the concept they’re going for with nu metal fits them so well and it’s literal perfection
it's so good!!!!
cyberpunk is my song ♥
I loved that song so much
No wonder why I loved this at first listen, nu metal is my all-time favorite genre and I'm glad they added elements of it in the song.
both Ateez and Anarchy starts with an A and I do not think that is a coincidence anymore. This song is such a "stand up to the government, overthrow the government and live your life" mood and I'm here for it
I am so glad you're giving a very honest opinion over it!🥰
And omg i also love Inception alot!😭🥺❤️
my first thought when I was 10 seconds into my first listen of Guerilla was What in the Linkin Park (in a good way) and it makes me so happy to hear another person who grew up with grunge and similar alternative music feeling the same! It's not for everyone and it took a second listen for me to really appreciate the sound too but now I love it and I hope they do more of it
The whole album has no skip to any song
I thought I was the only one that got goosebumps during Jongho's vocals. I ABSOLUTELY THE TITLE TRACK!!!
Every time is hear Jongho's voice I get such a heartbeat 💓
this cb is just fire
They slayed this comeback the whole freaking album is a chef's kiss.
SLAYTEEZ OUTSLAYED
Out of the whole song my favorite is probs hongjoong's jiggyjiggy and the ending when it goes "brreak the wallll"
My fav Ateez comeback even though everyone loves Wave Guerrilla just did it for me
ATEEZ NEVER DISAPPOINTS
Jongho’s voice is one of a kind
ATEEZ KINGS LIKE ALWAYS
NOT YOU NAMING ALL MY ROCK GROUPS LOL! No wonder I like this song so much :D
Bravo Ateez!
agreed on everything, since inception till cyberpunk, they came for everybodys necks!! the mv was just cinematic, im living for hwa's long skirt tbh, choreo amazing, song is fire. the ep is truly no skips and surprinsingly one of my favorites is the opening, propaganda, lol ateez are amazing i looove em
jaw dropped listening to guerilla. an iconic title track, as usual 😌
The whole EP is the shit. Yeah I picked up on the grudginess of the tracks. I didnt know it was considered nu metal, but definitely got some metal and grudge as well as hip hop. Linkin Park is one of my favorites RIP Chester.
They slayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it
i am just sad ateez dont have enough recognition by now. this album is so great in the way its structured and the way its executed. they are really talented.
YASSS JONGHO BEST 4TH GEN VOCALIST!!! This whole song was amazing!
even though i like ateez softs songs but i wanna say, they did it, this is exactly what ateez wanted
they wanted people to talk!
if they went on singing typical kpopie type songs it would be be harder for them to get noticed, ateez definately knew they need to do something out of the box to get attention. even if people might not like the song it definately made people talk, like ateez?? what the hell.
even though i didnt not liked the song at furst the more i hear the more fun it gets.
hardly any kpop group canslay as hard as ateez,
come and argue with me., u r welcome.
Me: I'm never going to like Ateez, I tried but I just don't like it.
Me, after listening to Guerrilla: Oh... so.... so I guess I like Ateez now....
If you want generic & boring kpop stay away from this album. Ateez & Edenary slay!
U want me to stay focus but u are also showing me this wy's fancam
I agree
Everyone is gonna have their favorite Ateez album/comeback/title track; however, I can totally see The World EP 1: Movement as their most influential album.
ateez really outdid theirselves this cb and i think this is in my top 3 tts with fireworks and illusion. like it feels so unique and i love that everyone is able to shine and show their strong points, ESP joong seonghwa and jongho. and not to mention. THIS IS IN THE TOP 3 MINGI VERSES OF ALL TIME. so im very very pleased.
Ateez best comeback YET! 😊💖💗
THEY ABSOLUTELY ATE THIS COMEBACK !!!!
GIRL listen to the beginning of wonderful life by bring me the horizon it sounds so much like the teaser aaaa i teared a bit when i heard the teaser
HEY BRICZENNIE NICE VIDEO 💞💞💕♥️
Ateez dis an amazing job with this concept, they tried something new and nailed it! You can dislike the concept but you have to admit that the song is good 😉
i've actually never been a fan of ateez (i dont mean that in a bad way, just never got into them, didn't fit my taste), only liked "answer", but after i heard guerilla and this album, this has now become one of my top favorite albums this year its perfect and i cant get enough of guerilla. i think maybe that is my favorite song, the nu metal elements are perfect and i've been wanting to hear this kind of sound from a boy group for years, so far only super junior's "dont don" has satisfied my taste and need for sounds like this, so thank you ateez for finally doing nu metal and making me happy. the only think i wish was different was that jongho's high note at the end was longer, think back to exo's wolf high note at the end, that kind of longer and more intense, and i know he's capable of doing it, maybe next time lol
ateez is a LEGEND the album was crazy
and absolutely jongho is the best vocalist of 4th gen! this is a FACT baby.
I actually didn't know why it was called guerrilla thats so cool.
My Album review:
As a whole album its very cohesive & nice. With all the mini albums we got from this tear this one stans out.
For guerrilla I thought it was ok not really my fav ateez tt. Jonghos part in the corus is wonderful & what makes the song. And hwas, sans, & yunhos voices stood out to me during the whole song.
6/10
Know the Bsides OMG. Probably some of my fav ateez bsides & some if my fav out of the whole year.
WDIG is amazing like idk what else to call it its just amazing
Cyberpunk is literally perfect its awesome
And sector 1 is also perfect loved it
Overall I give the album a 8/10
I liked it it was fun which is what ateez music is to me Fun😊
its guerrilla not gorilla hunn
@@cslvvr1016 oh sorry 😅
They differ
Although this album is not exactly my taste, i still think this album put their concept building and discography to the next level. Guerrilla is a bit too intense for me, maybe cause i don't really like the new metal elements (not a metal rock fan), but this definitely showcases their strength in performing. The MV is beautiful, MV of the year. All of the tracks connect to eachother in a way that felt like the whole album is telling a sci-fi dystopian story. Very solid concept. Cyberpunk and Sector 1 (i see you Answer) are my favs, not too intense, yet epic enough for me
tbh this is their best cb and album hands down
Not my favorite comeback but it's really good. 9/10 Ate(ez)
ATEEZ are kings
the whole album ate
Best comeback as of yet.
I grew up on Linkin Park and Slipknot but it's just for me, it felt like ateez want to make a statement and the song isn't that it didn't match...it's too flat for Nu Metal and feels forced
