I'm *REALLY* impressed by Hongjoong in this video. He basically spoke english for 85% of the time. All of the members can read english very well, and different members have different levels of comfort and confidence when it comes to english conversation, but Hongjoong was REALLY impressive. He read the questions and immediately translated them to the group.
All in all very impressed with this entire interview.
And he also made an effort to get each member to read and answer at least one question. And encouraged the quieter members to speak up. He actually does this in all the ATEEZ interviews. I think that's an important reason why they are so successful, because they have such a good leader, that they all respect.
Not to mention he was autotranslating without difficulty so reading the question in English and immediately translating it for the members, he’s also fluent enough to be able to correct pronunciation (Seonghwa mispronouncing bias and Hongjoong correcting him straight away)
Considering he’s said in the past that he’s primarily self taught his acceleration of fluency is amazing, he picks it up so quickly and you can tell he’s dedicated to practicing to communicate with atiny and be a representative speaker for the group

MINGI is so graceful here sitting all pretty and sophisticated. He was quietly observant but so profound when he talked about Wooyoung as the jewel of the group. No wonder MINGI is one of the lyricists of Ateez; he is so artistic and poetic with his words and expression.
I love how they answered questions as a collective; as a team they don't have a pet, they used their debut for their Zodiac signs rather than their individual ones, etc.

I watched this so many times. They are so humble and I love how Hongjoong makes sure all members talk and feel included. And I love how they all talk in English. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it makes the connection between I-Atinys and Ateez stronger, makes us feel closer. I really appreciate that.

-I think Hongjoong has a more extended english vocab and he's improved so much!!
-San has the best pronunciation and when he does speak English, it's very relaxed.
