  • Thanks for watching another episode of "Cooking with Abe". It's Summer, and with the recent hot weather (and large supply of ribs leftover & discounted at Walmart from July 4th), I thought I'd try my hand at grilling ribs on the charcoal grill my wife bought for me a couple of years ago.
I tried using a dry-rub method, because our 1-year old Lincoln was going to be eating these as well, so we didn't want the messiness of BBQ sauce for him. The only tricky part was maintaining a temperature of around 300 degrees F for an hour on this grill, but I managed it, and the results were fantastic!
Enjoy, and let me know what you think below!

Nice job but maybe make a mound out of your coals and light them with paper underneath. Then spread them out when ready, then your food won't taste of lighter fluid

I bought one of these grills. Finally started it up, small amount of charcoal, but it never set off the lid temp gauge. It was fairly cold last night. The lid was hot. Ever hear of the temp gauge not working?
