    The original Kaiju was a pretty good truck that just had a few flaws. It looks like Redcat has addressed all the issues. I picked up the latest version of the Kaiju with the latest updates to make it more reliable. Let's see how it ran!

    Hey Razor what is the difference between the v1 and v2? You had mentioned it but didn't really say what was changed. Edit oh wait you discussed the couple changes. You should get the tbone bumpers if you have any breaks there. I'm really happy with them and looks great

    I just ordered one maybe 2 weeks ago. I couldn't fit my 6s pack in it. So I added additional straps. On my first run 3 mins in, flat surface. I ran into a small rock, very soft hit...there went the right turnbuckle. If I return it, how can I make sure I have the latest version?

    Great video... Curious as to how you came to the conclusion of a V2 or updated parts? Redcat Racing Reps say there is no V2 or upgraded parts for the Kaiju yet.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not official and I think they still use the same part numbers, but there have definitely been some durability improvements over the first release of this truck. All the stuff that used to break has been holding up on the latest trucks.

      . bash it?..I aint did one backflip and it just breaks...my first rc, wltoys 144001 I think its tougher than this..the sad part is I'm not kidding..I rhought this thing was cool..Yeah it was ,doing speed runs in my alleyways but then i jump it one time and snap..I'm thinking about selling it..I literally have every upgrade available for this thing except away bars plus a 32kg savox servo..sell it for 625 right now and take my loss

      MAXX is a huge letdown. Clumsy rollover machine that cases on tiny bounces. Just a complete POS to drive and overpriced by $250. Kaiju is the best bang for the buck in this category. Tekno MT410 is the best truck if you have the MAXX budget.

    Thanks for the videos, 400 bucks not bad. But I kinda learned from my kraton that in the long run you gonna spend more and it's better to just buy a top of the line brand like mugen or tekno and making a basher out of them

      Mt410 still can break, just as any basher can and will break. It is a top of the line kit for sure but to pretend it’s bulletproof is laughable. Watch Rich Duperbash videos, he’s got a mt410, and it’s broke parts just like any other basher.

    • @TheDistantChaos
      @TheDistantChaos ปีที่แล้ว

      It has a shorter wheelbase than my vanquish vs410 Phoenix axel to axel. That's a 1/10 scale. It may be wider but it's definitely not longer than many 1/10 scale vehicles. Most 1/10 are 313mm wheelbase this is 308mm if I remember correctly.

    Definitely a "low profile" 1/8 scale.

    • @3Y3ECE
      @3Y3ECE 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They refer to it as an eighth scale because of it's power potential moreso than it's actual dimensions. For instance, how many rc's in this catagory have a 6s system with a hobby wing setup like that? Pricing just the ESC and the motor for this is insane, on a great day I'm seeing $150 for the pair, and those deals disappear as fast as I find them. Frankly, I see the Redcat Shredder as a wasted opportunity, as I would have put the Kaiju system in the Shredder too. Maybe someday when I have a bunch of extra money, but I just bought the Kaiju 2 days ago, and it will be here tuesday, so for now, Kaiju V2 bashing, and I already bought a heat sink with fan, I have a metal servo arm, and I have a radiolink 7 channel gyro receiver/radio for it too. Hub extenders, sway bar kit... Forgive the rant, but terribly stoked

  • @sammygonzalez7627
    @sammygonzalez7627 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You really don't want to make this truck and more powerful, Because of the short wheel base...on 6s it's a handful 👍

    Another video where You make stuff up and pass it off as truth. Unsubbed.
    You say it’s a associated it’s not. You say They did a redesign they did not, Bumpers exactly the same. You can change the pinion you can change the motor. So I recommend If u watch this guys videos take what he says with a grain of salt. I’ve had the same experience with other videos everyone’s entitled to their opinions, Does it make them facts?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Watch the video more carefully. The truck is clearly made by the same OEM as the Associated Rival MT10. Bumpers survive way bigger crashes than they used to, I lawndart a 15 foot jump straight into the face of a jump. Upper arms are different. Pinion can't go any smaller. Motor can't go any longer.
