Hi Dianna! I'm loving your content and was wondering whether you can do a Program Manager version or advice on how to tweak it. I think it's a fair assumption a PgM interview could include "what success metrics/goals would you set for a program?" I have an upcoming loop and would so so appreciate any suggestions.
@@diannayau did you mean this for a specific app? Slightly unrelated question but I’m curious, do you have a favorite internet trends report to keep yourself updated on trends in the tech industry - Mary Meeker / Bond Capital published until 2019 but I haven’t seen anything after that
@@Kb777 i get this question a lot...I personally don't have a go to...but probably something I should do research on! Thanks for the idea, let me noodle on it
Hi Diana, look forward to see you illustrate the product sense question like "how will you improve product X?" E.g. if you were the Pm if FB News&feed, how will design newsfeed 2.0? Will there be any difference between the framework you shared before for product design question? Thanks
Yesss the framework is quite different, I actually talk about this question in another video “the most asked product question” video. You’ll find it in the product sense playlist
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing, Dianna! When you define the supporting metrics to the North Star metric, are you implying that all the metric that you have listed must be measured to determine product success? That seems like a lot. It was my understanding that the North Star metric is a derivative of the funnel metrics and the success of the product is tied to measuring that single metric that matters? What is your perspective?
You want to have anywhere from 1-3 key key metrics, but you’ll want a few supporting metrics to help you understand the fuller picture of how your product is doing.
This video is GOLD!! Meta interview coming up in a week!
Thanks for the pro-tips towards the end!
We definitely need such a video for product sense :)
Haha it’s recorded already, just need to edit it now!

3:57 meet them half way .. rightly said .
Awesome video, very interested in a similar one for tradeoffs :)
In progress ;)
Hi Diana, thanks for this video. Incredibly helpful. Are there top 5-10 products you recommend studying from before?
Check out launches for the most recent products, and products in the menu hamburger button in the app

North star metric = intersection of value from different stakeholders perspective
