I just got one as the Portal is permanently out of stock. The Backbone has different adaptors for different phones. I keep my Mous case on. It' s half the price of the Portal
Lol battery life is not a problem when you can use external batteries. You would think playstation would allow you to play anywhere by just logging in to your playstation plus account. And it should allow you to go on the internet and any platform. Sounds like the portal isn't that good. Why do you need to be close to the ps5? That is a stupid concept, if that's the case why not use the ps5? Either your not telling us everything or the portal is just a waste of money. Since you can't play games anywhere, it has no games or way to save games to it or access a cloud network, and it is locked from access to the internet and apps. I don't think Sony would release a product like that.
When I do get a PlayStation five and a PlayStation portal what I would do is take my PS five on PlayStation portal and then take a extension cord, plug it in the house and then put another extension cord on that one so I can go out in the front yardand play my PS five without any TV or anything so can you make a video about that please?🫸🏼🫷🏼
Backbone is great! Dont listen to this guy. COD Mobile & GTA 5(remote play) go crazy on it, but i play on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. But this is such a biased review smh
Most rookie review ever. Get better or please quit wasting my time as well as everyone else’s. Here’s a tip for u: when doing a controller review we want to know about how long the sticks will last us, we want to know about the amount of precision the sticks have, the latency of the controller, and will we have to replace the entire device if it’s only the sticks being worn out (100+ dollars is a lot of money to have to replace something entirely when only one or two parts are messed up, and if so it isn’t worth it.)
Couple huge mistakes on this video. 1.Backbone isnt exclusive to iOS 2.Portal does not have to be near your PS5, you can use it anywhere as long as your PS5 is on and connected to the internet
@HaugenGjelle It is more comfy than the backbone. Larger sticks and (imo) has a better D pad. Nothing is hid behind a paywall like on the backbone. It is also so much cheaper than the portal and you can do so much more with it and your phone. I just do not see the purpose of the portal when it is only used for "remote play". Any decent phone will run remote play just as good as the portal.
Don't buy shiny trash kids, get a backbone...works great with ps5 and my xbox series lgbtq...or whatever they call it
I want an Xbox series LGBTQ1424s
I bought the Backbone and use it with my new S24 Ultra to play ancient games. It is awesome!
Bruh honestly what the fuck was microsoft thinking with the Xbox naming convention?
Get a controller to phone mount instead, it's more comfortable, cheaper and without a paywall
Do you have to be connected to the same wifi?
Not that great. I'd expected stuff like latency testing. This is just a ramble of the various features.

How about Gamesir G8 instead?
One word: EMULATORS
BUY THE BACKBONE
I would pick the backbone, because i'm a PC gamer and more partial to xbox, so I like more variety in my gaming,

Gamesir G8 is better, plus can be modded for larger screened devices easily.
Dude... I bought a Backbone One for my Galaxy S23 Ultra back in September. You need to learn before you post.
Can you play helldivers on these ??? Only reason I’ll buy one
Sony one yes dunno about the other should do tho
Found out I just need to acquire a Steam Deck
@@joefrausto5343 steam deck is awesome for emulator games as well
You don’t have to be in the same room to access the ps5 with your portal. He is wrong
You just need a WiFi connection
So u saying I can use this if I'm at wk ?
Correct. I play it on my break at work with my 5G phone data.
