I have a carbon and a performance, great units. Personally don't think is worth spending xtra $ for carbon. I charge the carbon from my f150 lightning in 2 hrs to 100%. The lightning battery goes down 10%.
2 hour MAX run time is a deal breaker for most. They shouldn't have even released it until they got at least 4 hours out of it, and even that's not enough for most ppl! I see a lot of potential here, but it's not viable just yet.
@jayesh5131 perhaps this technology simply isn't ready yet for this particular application.. but I have no doubts that in the near future it will dominate this market
I think for a "trailer boat" this is quite right, you don't want to have the hassle of hooking the trailer, going to the lake, having an hour and a half, and going home again. BUT on the back of a yacht, ideal. Change it from the yacht (might even be worth getting a L2 charger) and that's different. You kick it off the back for a couple of hour's fun then back to your boat to continue having fun.
Excellent. Maintenance on current PWC engines is a pain.
Really wish they had NACS now that the automotive industry is switching to that.

Nobody is getting 4 hrs with a lithium ion battery!

@darthkek1953 Good thinking! They should probably market it just as you're saying - maybe call it the Stow & Go lol
